I'm thinking about giving FST344 a go. Reta has helped me drop a lot of weight, though I've lost some muscle along the way.

My knowledge of fst344 is pretty limited, and this forum doesn't have much discussion about it either.

Has anyone here tried it? Is it effective? What are the pros and cons?

Any facts or personal experiences would be welcome.

That peptide probably won't do much for you. There isn't a lot of solid information out there, and from what I can tell it's being used incorrectly. Myostatin inhibitors are designed for people who have already reached their genetic ceiling, and even in that case the evidence that this particular peptide actually works is thin. If you're after real results, look into anabolic steroids instead.

Talking about myostatin inhibitors: I came across a great mega post about flgr242 on pc. Those myostatin inhibitors are wild, but the side effects are what stop me from using them.

What kind of side effects are we talking about?

Recognized Side Effects and Risks

    • Tendon and Muscle Strain: When muscle grows quickly, it can exceed how fast tendons and ligaments strengthen and adapt, which may leave tendons weakened or ruptured along with stress injuries to muscle fibers.
    • Vascular and Bleeding Issues: Off-target inhibition or cross-reactivity involving other TGF-beta superfamily members (including BMP9 and BMP10, which regulate blood vessels) may lead to nosebleeds (telangiectasias), damage to blood vessels, or bleeding disorders.
    • Cardiac and Muscle Inflammation: Possible dangers include inflammation of the heart, muscle spasms, and uncommon serious events such as rhabdomyolysis.
    • Bone Density Reduction: Since myostatin normally helps keep osteoclast formation in check, blocking it or related pathways (such as GDF11 or activins) may harm bone remodeling and result in lower bone mass or fractures.
    • Hormonal and Metabolic Imbalances: Suppressing related proteins unintentionally (for example activins or FSH) may throw off normal hormone levels, affect red blood cell production (erythropoiesis), or raise the risk of venous thromboembolism.
    • High-Dose Risks (Follistatin): Central serous chorioretinopathy (an eye condition affecting the retina) has been linked to high doses of follistatin or unverified research peptides, along with unknown long-term systemic toxicity
Those are only a handful. I also came across some mentions of infections and other strange issues

Myostatin blockers might cause enlargement of the heart and prostate. I assume this depends on the dose and cycle length.
