On a podcast, Paul Bakhtiar appeared as a guest. He discussed a more recent, modified form of Follistatin 344. Its purpose would be to build, maintain, or preserve muscle during glp1 use. The problem with 344 is its potential to encourage tumor growth. FLGR242 has been altered to reduce that danger. There's a lot more to it—I'm only giving the simplest explanation, lol. I notice a few vendors list follistatin among their offerings, and perhaps this new one will show up before long.
I picked up FLGR242 from the one vendor that carries it (it's a patented follistatin modification). It has to be said — the person most tied to it is Jay Campbell, and some of the things he has come out with are the dodgiest I've run into in this space, worse even than some of Bachmeyer's misfires. I remember on one of his last sales streams, talking with the designer of FLGR242, the question came up of "should I take it during pregnancy". The research doctor — 70s, New Jersey accent, doing it because he enjoys it — plainly says "no", and then Campbell launches into a whole thing about how it helps the child develop faster and... Yeah.
A week and a half in and I'm a touch stronger... but the fatigue is definitely there, which probably means muscle is being built. I'm on something like 300g of protein a day (mostly milk, with some meat/plant). There's another scan coming once week 10 is done, which is when I run out.
Edit Ha, I missed the date on this one. Apologies for dragging up an old thread .
Worth adding that FLGR242 is designed to overload the follistatin side of muscle growth. The endogenous follistatin then has to deal with the activin side of the equation — you still have to work that out... assuming the exogenous follistatin doesn't get in the way of your own ability to produce it...
I may well have stepped in it. Will write about it later.
