Hi everyone! Sunday was when I took my very first dose of Reta. Because I'm autistic, I figured I'd react strongly, so I began at .25mg. Roughly 3 hours later, I noticed the food noise was being affected. By around Wednesday, the food noise had returned, though at such a small dose that makes sense. The first night also brought intense heart racing and really bad nightmares. Should I expect that, and does resting heart rate usually return to baseline eventually?

Welcome! With most people, it looks like heartbeat does calm down once a number of weeks have passed. No two people are the same. I'm on week 12 and an increase still shows up for a day or two following my shot.

According to what the trials reported, it remained up for some, though for most the rate came down. You ought to look at the phase 2 results, and from what I understand, some phase 3 trial results are expected any day now.

Vivid dreams and waking up early are reported too. There's lots of info here and many knowledgeable people that can help you on your journey!

Appreciate your reply!

Next week I'm making the switch to reta, after spending 3 months on the starter dose of zepbound. If I notice anything comparable with dreams or heart rate, I'll report back.

I'd bet things will level out for you.
