First pen setup — are these the right picks?

Yeah, that's the trouble with plenty of these. The thing is, some other pens go by the name V4s and from what I hear they're okay. All I can say is I remember watching that video where the shiny ones turned out to be booty.

Tonight I plan to try it out using a used cartridge plus dyed water, so I can check how precise it is.

Yes, they work! Each order arrives in autoclave bags holding 4 or 5, and those bags have both internal and external indicators showing the autoclave process actually happened. Their website also explains their sterilization method. Goodlifesupplies relies on steam, so don't panic when the EO (gas sterilization) pink indicators look pink instead of yellow—the one to pay attention to is the dark green indicator located at the top right of the packaging.

I'm brand new to pens myself, but my Gensu2 pen is ah.may.zing! It's so smooth, and the auto inject feature makes arm and derrière shots really simple. I picked up a Mrs. Goodlife manual pen too, following suggestions from this community, but I haven't given it a try yet. The travel case that comes with it is excellent!

When you give the Mrs. Goodlife a go, please fill me in — it's been on my radar, yet I'm hesitant about whether the plastic texture will sit right with me (a lighter pen does appeal to me, though) and whether it will glide as easily as the Savvio.

Gave it a go earlier today! It feels good in my grip and I enjoy the tactile sensation. For a pin in the derrière, I pressed the plunger with my pinky and it went down smoothly. Beforehand I checked its accuracy and it came out perfect. The case is pleasant too, holding 3 needles. I'd suggest it!

I own a V2 and a V4 from Goodies, and I'm really happy with both! Since the V4 weighs much more, the V2 gets my preference—even though I never use the retractable tip to hide the needle; I simply treat it as a V1.

This community is a terrible influence on my wallet. I just placed an order for 2 "hulk" Gansulin autos. I already own a few Convi pens that I'm quite happy with. Now I'm asking myself: could those Hulk Gansulins sold on Goodies simply be Convis with a different name, at $13 more per pen? I'll know soon enough.

That's awesome to hear you're happy with it — thanks for letting me know! If you could press it down using just your pinky, they must be really easy to use lol. Now I'm really looking forward to mine! And they look adorable too

Appreciate the suggestion about colored water! The V2s I just received included cartridges that aren't sterile (yes, I've got an 11 year old pressure cooker from a wedding gift, still in its box, that I could use to sterilize them at some point, but…), so I grabbed one to try your water method and it performed great! And because it's pink, there's no chance of mixing it up with something else.

I have a question: I’m on the biogenix 13mm. What’s everyone’s approach to the peptide that gets lost during filtering? From what I read, it’s roughly 25 units (0.25cc).

Should I do an air purge? Or push 0.25c BAC afterward?
