Heard. I had done all the research and guess I was just so excited my funds finally showed up I was just ready to try it out. RIP my PayPal.HereKittyKitty said:

Your accounts can be closed out if you get flagged for sending to shady wallets.Commander said:
I buy directly in Exodus. Why would you buy in coinbase and then transfer to exodus? Isn’t there a delay before you can send your crypto out if coinbase? But what advantage is it to not just buy directly in exodus?

If you buy in Exodus and send from Exodus it is no different then just sending from Exodus. And Exodus is a self custody wallet, they can’t close your walletEstarossa19 said:

Good idea! Open to this but a little intimidated by the conversion. If I buy a certain amount of money in eth from Venmo - it then turns into a different … decimal…number… that I would then send to exodus… and then convert it back into usdc for the amount of money I need it to be … to just pay this freakin vendor already?yrrdead said:
I would recommend buying ETH in Venmo, then xfer to exodus and swap the majority of the ETH to USDC for stability. Eth is what you are going to want (obv can use btc or others) so just start with it to minimize exchanges/fees.

Thank you. Purchased eth. But now can’t transfer it to exodus. Assuming it’s just a hold. Praying it doesn’t fluctuate much and I have enough to cover the fees (ie: it doesn’t make me keep $25 out to fund fees) and I can cobble this and the $10 of pyusd together to send to vendor. I appreciate the advice. This has been harrowing.yrrdead said:

Venmo > $ > Ethereum > Exodus > Leave a little Eth, Exchange majority to USDC > Vendor

You need some type of "onramp".Smiter said:
Why shouldn't someone use Exodus to buy and send crypto payment? Why the need for an intermediary like Coinbase?

I just used ETH as an example. Sorry for not clarifying that.thorien said:
Does it have to be ETH ? Do vendors take sol ? Or would I have to convert sol in exodus to USDc /t ?

Welp. My eth has gone down 18% since purchasing it, waiting for Venmo to release it to transfer to exodus. Really hoping it come back up to what I bought so I can hopefully have enough to cover the purchase.HereKittyKitty said:
