LORD I’ve been stuck in a weight “decade” forever it seems. After starting tirz and having a few months of frequent weekly losses, I hit a stall in May-June, and then it finally started breaking in July, but with small 0.2, 0.6lb weekly losses. I was feeling very desperate—which is also kind of silly because my average has been 1.4 lbs a week, and my weight chart continued to show a downslope, even if it was a very small one. But we know how frustrating it is when you’re trying but the weight just doesn’t come off!

This past week I was pretty convinced the scale would move up since I’ve been having a lot of sugar cravings, but then got on the scale today and WOOP! Three pounds down! This feels great!!! I just wanted to share since I know many of you get it - the frustration and the joy!

Sucks that it happened to you BUT I am glad to hear that it happened to you 😛 because I am currently stuck now for the past three weeks! Any longer and I'll turn to the exhausting pre colonoscopy prep just to get that damn scale to move! Okay I am not that desperate but STILL! This is BS! Congratulations I guess. J/K, I am cheering for you! 🥳

Its everyone’s fear that they wont get all the weight off before they run out of dose runway and have to find a way to keep it coming off. The last thing I want to be doing near the end is fighting cravings hard while maxed out, that is a nightmare scenario because it means there is no maintenance strategy that just involves declining the dose of one glp.

OK Fam, I know you know what it feels like! Yes, it makes you consider all sorts of weird ass sh*t…”If I chop off my arm, I bet that’d bring me down a few pounds” LOL! It sucks, but I’m hoping your plateau ends soon. 😊

EXACTLY. I have a lot to lose, I have been diagnosed with a metabolic syndrome (like many here) and only twice before in my life have I been able to maintain steady weight loss for over 3-4months. The reasons you gave are precisely why I’ve been trying to hold off titration up as much as I can. I would also consider adding in Reta, and will defs add in Elora when my order arrives. I just want to make sure that I have enough wiggle room in dosing to get me through to goal, which I’m hoping to hit next summer. It has been a “relief” I guess to hear of people on some pretty high doses - 15mg is certainly not the cap in the research space LOL! And luckily on gray even 5 years at 15mg is pretty affordable to acquire. But if I was on compounded -eesh!

It's strange how you're so sure the scale will move up because you over ate the previous day and then step in the scale and see a new low. Congrats!

Bodies are weird AF! They have their own mind and way of doing things. I was certainly surprised today; two days ago I had maybe a dozen Oreos (a rare thing these days—usually 3-5 hits the spot, but the sweet tooth was in full effect that day!)

Similar story for me in June. Between mid-March and end of May I dropped about 30 lbs thanks to the magic of Reta. All of June, calorie deficit every day, consistent resistance training 3 or 4 times a week, but lost only 3 lbs. July so far has been better.
