Yeah, even though I’m technically a member, I can’t even with this one. I’ve also been warned off this one from a few people I trust. They’d have to be selling something for like $30 for me to get involved in the drama. Well, at $30, I would ignore the drama and cultishness and just see if the product arrives or doesn’t!Bioexplorer said:
It does seem like they all have some of those elements Housecat but some are worse than others with the 'cult' aspect.

A “journalist” who follows the gray market. She has shared things from here and Peppy’s w/o permission and the writing is just straight up bad. But sometimes I want to know more about gossip I see on the forum so I’ll subject my eyeballs to it.tcpnomad said:

I also have to immediately filter out like a good 90% of most gb messages cause I'm not a dude bro running gear.HouseCat said:
It’s been almost two decades since I taught English (I still work in schools, different role now)…I admit, I also do my GB monitoring late at night when even my reading glasses have a limited ability to help, so between my vision and the nonsense, I’m not as fast as I used to be. I can get through about 300 messages in 10-15 minutes, but definitely miss my old English Teacher sifting eyes (and my 20/20 vision in my 20s!) BTW, the rec you gave me - very, very nice. Quiet and organized, just like I like them!

this is such a good point and so worth amplifying. With vendors, you have some recourse if things go wrong. With GB's you have next to none. That recourse is less likely to be needed, until Today's the Day and you're just out of luck. Which is why I try not to have more than two orders floating in the gb's at a time, because if Today's the Day, I don't want to lose more than the cost of one kit.miameow said:
100% this.
The unspoken rule in many of these GBs is that you’re not allowed to complain. If you do it openly, you’ll be shunned by the group and then booted. If you do it privately, the Group Promotion Vendor may ban you and delete your entire chat history.
If you join groups run by home brewers, things can get far worse. These groups leaders (brewers) are often revered by their followers, while the sane people say nothing so they can get their shit and move on with their lives. It’s like the relationship between an addict and a dealer.
That said, there are a few GBs that seem to be run by relatively sane people. Even then, always look out for yourself and never place blind trust in the organizers. They have your personal information, while you usually know almost nothing about them.

What’s a home brewer? I always thought the lypholization process was too complex/expensive for non-corporations to do it and was under the impression that there are only a few places in the US that lypholize powders. Do you mean something else? I know you’re not talking about crappy lagersmiameow said:

I’m referring specifically to the oil home brewers. Some of them also run GBs while brewing and selling their own oils, and those groups tend to be the most culty.. along with any group where the G.B.O. refers to themselves in the third person.HouseCat said:

I know @Grogu had an idea for a screenplay about the peptide world; this situation sounds Ike it has the potential to be a great drama or cult doc as well!

I am tempted to ask you for one of these groups—I don’t take any oils, just so I can watch the drama!miameow said:

I bet we could get an entire Netflix series out of just Tracy and his victims.

YES!! So annoying. It seems like it's really bad where HGH is concerned. Some vendors just take advantage of their loyalty it seems.HouseCat said:
I’ve also seen (not here) people go absolutely bananas over certain vendors, like Uther, Nextaph and Lobster. (I’ve also seen people here who have said that these three all have big, sometimes annoying personalities.)
Have you guys seen this extreme fan behavior in the peptide space? What do you think about it?

Same. I don't even participate in the chats unless I have a question, and I don't even do that anymore. Just show me the open buy form so I can order if needed so I can gtfo.MikeyMike said:
I don't really pay attention to all that. I am currently a participant in about 4-5 group buys, and trolling a few others to look for the right deals and peps I want or want to try. I just check the updates and don't really pay much mind to the other chatter. I'm just in it for the product and the deals for peps I can wait for or want to stockpile.

I’m pretty sure some Group Promotion Vendors also love the fandom. I could never be one—I have no patience for people who can’t read or wait and would certainly just end up telling everyone to f*ck off—but for anyone who does have the patience for it, I bet having dozens of people tell you on the daily that you’re the best, their peptide savior yada yada is probably a big high.sheilarae74 said:

Even on peppys there are extreme fan boys who get downright nasty when you dare question the shitty group practices of their favorite Group Promotion Vendor.

Same. It's especially infuriating when they just run a shitty operation and their cult members act like you're stupid for realizing it. It's hard enough for me to control my temper as it is, I gotta stay away from those messes.HouseCat said:
