Fake peptide

I'm curious whether a vendor here would face a ban for selling counterfeit peptides.

Earlier today, someone reached out to me on telegram saying a vendor listed on this forum had scammed him. He told me to stay away from ordering there. To back it up, he shared a COA for the product he bought, the chat history with the vendor, and all the reasons they gave for not shipping genuine products, among other things. He also offered to send me more proof if I wanted it.

I can't tell whether this guy is just another competitor in the peptide space, but what he showed me looks believable. Then again, there's no way to be sure.

When something hasn't happened to you personally, there's no way to tell whether it's accurate.

Exactly. About 2 weeks back I ordered from them, and my package is set to arrive tomorrow. All I can do is hope the claims aren't accurate and that what they sent is genuine.

That person could be running a scam. Has any testing been done on these, and which kind are they — Tirz, Reta, or something else?

Another option is to look at the vendor’s TG or Discord community. Assuming the results are genuine, they’ll almost certainly spread widely, and the person who shared them won’t be alone.

Not long ago I heard about vendors using sabotage methods, for example shipping poor-quality peps to Jano under a different vendor’s label…seems like things are pretty cutthroat out there!

The person posting on TG might have placed an order with an impersonator—someone whose username closely resembles the vendor you have in mind—rather than the actual vendor.

On top of that, the phrase "fake peptides" itself isn't well-defined. With certain peptides, not everyone experiences the effects they anticipate, particularly when beginning at low doses.

Another option is to look at the vendor’s TG or Discord community. Assuming the results are genuine, they’ll almost certainly spread widely, and the person who shared them won’t be alone.

My guess is that OP made the purchase through that source and would look into it.

Never place blind faith—have your peptides analyzed for verification.

Testing has never been something I did myself — the vendors I work with through Group Promotions handle it, Endo included.

I'd argue that people you don't know carry little weight around here. If you're an established member, a mod will look into what you're claiming. When several members report the same problem, it wouldn't be unprecedented for a vendor to get the boot. Proving anything through discord/tg is tough, since scammers dive in immediately with almost matching addresses, or they move you over to a different fake tg the moment you reply.

I recall we busted an actual salesgirl who said the member had sent his 400 plus payment to a fraudulent crypto address, claimed her tg got hacked, and then magically had it back 15 minutes later. He put up every screenshot, and it didn't reflect well on the vendor. Once a handful of members commented on her page, I got curious, though not because of what happened to this guy, and they suddenly announced they'd absorb the loss and paid him back....

That said, there’s a Lab Results thread…. If the test is yours and you can genuinely prove it’s legit, put it up there. On that thread you’ll find multiple tests from a vendor I’ve bought from. At that point it essentially turns into a group buy, since we’re both testing and purchasing. For 10 years, I’ve used a vendor who runs tests and posts them (testing on raws), and afterward he pays back customers who mail in vials for testing. Nothing serious has ever come up (aside from people who, say, use a compound that crashes e2, then assume they got a vial containing AI by mistake, complain, and end up looking foolish—which is why there’s caution here about posts on vendors without enough backup). When people start posting results for a bad vendor, it doesn’t take long for that vendor to lose all business.

Same here, I'm hoping for that outcome. The person who reached out to me on telegram, however, said the seller gave them this explanation: the real peptide had been swapped for a fake one. That's the seller's account — I have no way to share screenshots.

"Here's what happened. After vendor told me about it, I immediately went to verify. This time, due to a surprise inspection by customs on this batch of products, we had to temporarily switch them out to avoid being caught. Otherwise, if the products with the required purity level were found, we would be in trouble"

we were forced to swap them temporarily so we wouldn't get caught? That's nonsense, if they'd been informed of that, what reason would they have to send them at all??

So yes, that vendor is still advertising here on the forum, but since I'm unable to share proof, getting them banned isn't straightforward, and they went ahead and blocked the person who originally messaged me about being scammed—he had sent me a screenshot showing part of their chat along with an Alibaba receipt.
