No shame involved here, and no blame either. Let's begin with that.
Age — 50
Sex — male
Height — 5'11
Weight at the start — 225 lb
Body fat share — 25.1%
Weight right now — 219
Pounds shed — 6 lbs
Weekly dosing:
Roughly 4 weeks back, my GLP-1 journey began. Supplies for the first 6 weeks came from 1 local reseller up in Canada, though the pricing cannot be sustained. Plenty of Reddit threads on grey-market sourcing eventually pointed me to this forum. Ordering from an unknown vendor takes real nerve when forum posts are the only basis for trust, and crypto payments add their own learning curve. Still, you stumble along and pick it up as you go. A grey-market Tirz/Tesa/Reta delivery is what I am now waiting on.
Only 6 lbs have come off across those first 4 weeks. Discouragement creeps in at times — is that it? Is this the miracle everyone keeps describing, just 6 lbs in 4 weeks? Running the arithmetic helps: 1.5 lbs weekly so far, which projects to my goal of 185 (my weight back in my 30's) by October. That thought is what gets me to the gym.
Things that shifted:
For the moment the plan is simple: stay on Tirz and Tesa and see how far that carries me before Reta even gets considered (assuming those shipments land). Posts here brim with excitement about what Reta can do, and curiosity has me tempted to just switch over. Part of me insists on holding one regimen long enough to learn what it does to my body first, and that is the side I am leaning toward.
Updates will land in this thread as things develop.
Tell me if you're in the same position, or starting from somewhere different.

Things that shifted:
- My appetite is suppressed now and food cravings are far weaker. Tirz gets the credit for that.
- Sleep has been superb — from 5-6 hour nights broken by insomnia to 8 hours every night. The odd part is how vivid my dreams have become; Tesa seems the likely culprit.
- Side-effects have been minimal. Skin dryness (ashy patches) showed up in the second week and has been the main nuisance. A search online suggests dehydration on Tirz is a known cause, so water intake is going up to test that theory. Otherwise it is lotion, lotion, lotion — legs and arms especially.
- Will the vendor's package actually turn up? That worries me.
- Suppose it does arrive and turns out impure or contaminated, etc etc... Filtering is something I need to learn, along with how to get product tested.
- Fingers crossed there are few long-term consequences from using these products
- Where I land in 6 months is something I can't wait to see
