EU newbie saying hi — peptides are all new to me

Hey, welcome aboard!

Can't speak to EU-based warehouses — they tend to carry only a small range — but ordering straight from China has worked out fine for me (5 orders of my own plus 4 placed by friends nearby), and I haven't come across any problems either.

As far as I can tell, peptides aren't something customs is actively targeting.
Customs are watching for it. Over the past 2 weeks, across various EU customs points, they seized medication worth a total of € 13.000.000. The bulk was medication, steroids, and peptides as well. They'll stay on the radar until FDA approval happens. And even with approval, the grey market never leaves the radar. Whether a package clears easily or gets stuck comes down to the sender's customs paperwork. That said, customs doesn't inspect every single package—only those that look suspicious or have questionable clearance. If your tracking shows a hold for customs clearance, that doesn't mean it's actually being inspected yet. The carrier is just holding it, waiting for an invoice, proof of payment, or some document to finish the clearance. If clearance isn't completed, they hand it over to customs. Packages sent via DHL that route through Germany are an entirely different situation, which I won't get into here. But right now, it's the safest option. Tracking stays quiet until a few days before delivery. That's not a problem—it's just how it works. Because DHL isn't the only one handling it. It only delivers within the EU.
Could this be more about Belgium and the Netherlands specifically rather than the EU as a whole?

Antwerp/Bruges and Rotterdam rank among Europe's biggest ports, and customs officials in those places are already doing heavy screening for narcotics and other banned items. Maybe peptides get stopped simply because they look like the kinds of compounds those officers are already watching for, and whether a package gets seized depends partly on which inspector opens it? Or has anyone seen proof that authorities are intentionally ramping up scrutiny of peptides or similar compounds, perhaps in expectation of upcoming regulatory shifts or approvals?

If the first explanation holds, might the higher seizure numbers just reflect that goods flow through major port nations such as the Netherlands and Belgium, rather than pointing to a wider EU-wide pattern? For instance, I'd guess the situation looks quite different in places like France or Poland, which don't play the same primary entry-point role.

Hey all! 🙂🙋‍♀️

Apart from GLP-1, peptides are still pretty new territory for me, and I'm hoping to get a clearer picture of how shipping works across EU countries.

I'd love to hear about your experiences — specifically, orders sent from within the EU compared with those sent straight from China.

"EU warehouse" and "EU stock" come up a lot, but I'm wondering how often that actually holds up in pratcice.

Also, if you're based in an EU country, I'd really value your input on these:

  • Has customs ever given you trouble and held a package?
  • What tends to happen in reality, and what should someone do if customs gets in touch?
Thanks so much in advance, and apologies if this question has come up before.

Excited to be here with you all. ❤️
glad to have you here in the community

Hi everyone, I'm seoulcity77 and I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to peptides — GLP-1 is the only thing I've had experience with, and I'm still figuring out how shipping to EU countries actually works.

I wanted to ask if folks here could share their experiences, especially around ordering from China versus EU warehouses.

Welcome to the forum!

I'm new as well — nice to meet you! It's strange to me that a lot of vendors have US warehouses but far fewer have EU ones. I find ordering from China to be a real challenge, honestly.

Hello and welcome — I signed up not too long ago too!! My first order ever came from an EU warehouse and went to the Netherlands; it arrived in just a few days without any issues. Now I'm browsing around to place an order from China, because EU stock tends to run out quickly 😵‍💫

Hey! I'm also new here - welcome aboard! One thing I keep noticing though: plenty of vendors run US-Warehouses, yet EU Warehouses seem harder to come by. Getting stuff from China feels like a real challenge, in my opinion.

Just keep in mind that plenty of EU warehouses won't ship to some EU countries. The UK is among those.

I'm also based in Europe, and I've had my eye on a couple of options that have warehouses within the EU.

One of them comes in much cheaper than the other, and both say they dispatch from EU-based warehouses. That said, it doesn't guarantee the parcel won't be inspected.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I'm still nervous.
From what I understand, shipments sent between Schengen Area countries don't go through customs or border checks.

It's possible, though with the sheer number of shipments going through, the odds are quite low.

Before picking any vendor, go through the review threads about the sellers. When you reach out to a seller through discord/whatsapp or another platform, double-check that you're communicating with the right individual, since those platforms are full of scammers.

I'm not able to talk about sources, though I can share that ordering from overseas has worked out really well for me, and it turned out to be far more enjoyable than I expected. I've tried quite a few of the vendors out there, and honestly, I don't see how you could make a bad choice.

That's a correct point! For businesses holding a VAT number, trade between EU nations involves no border checks, no customs oversight, no import or export duties, no paperwork declarations and no VAT. Commerce flows freely. Packages arrive at their destination unless they go missing in transit. Anything beyond that is pure speculation.

Every parcel arrives at its destination unless it goes missing in transit. Anything said otherwise is pure speculation.
