Hey all! πŸ™‚πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ

Apart from GLP-1, peptides are still pretty new territory for me, and I'm hoping to get a clearer picture of how shipping works across EU countries.

I'd love to hear about your experiences β€” specifically, orders sent from within the EU compared with those sent straight from China.

"EU warehouse" and "EU stock" come up a lot, but I'm wondering how often that actually holds up in pratcice.

Also, if you're based in an EU country, I'd really value your input on these:

  • Has customs ever given you trouble and held a package?
  • What tends to happen in reality, and what should someone do if customs gets in touch?
Thanks so much in advance, and apologies if this question has come up before.

Excited to be here with you all. ❀️

Hi !

Over the past 6 months, every package I've gotten has come from China and arrived with zero issues. The majority entered Europe via Germany. They all showed up in my mailbox, and the authorities never asked a single thing.

My advice: look into a vendor thoroughly before you commit to them. I also make a point of confirming upfront whether a vendor reships in case customs grabs the package, though I believe that situation is very uncommon.

A heads-up: your vendor will hand you tracking info 1 to 3 days later.

Then for roughly a week (sometimes a bit longer) there is absolutely NO movement on that tracking! Stresssssss 😱

Updates only start once the package reaches EU ground.

Curiosity will probably push me to test one of those "EU warehouse" vendors within the next few weeks.

Welcome to the party 😘

Hey, welcome aboard!

Can't speak to EU-based warehouses β€” they tend to carry only a small range β€” but ordering straight from China has worked out fine for me (5 orders of my own plus 4 placed by friends nearby), and I haven't come across any problems either.

As far as I can tell, peptides aren't something customs is actively targeting.

Customs are watching for it. Over the past 2 weeks, across various EU customs points, they seized medication worth a total of € 13.000.000. The bulk was medication, steroids, and peptides as well. They'll stay on the radar until FDA approval happens. And even with approval, the grey market never leaves the radar. Whether a package clears easily or gets stuck comes down to the sender's customs paperwork. That said, customs doesn't inspect every single packageβ€”only those that look suspicious or have questionable clearance. If your tracking shows a hold for customs clearance, that doesn't mean it's actually being inspected yet. The carrier is just holding it, waiting for an invoice, proof of payment, or some document to finish the clearance. If clearance isn't completed, they hand it over to customs. Packages sent via DHL that route through Germany are an entirely different situation, which I won't get into here. But right now, it's the safest option. Tracking stays quiet until a few days before delivery. That's not a problemβ€”it's just how it works. Because DHL isn't the only one handling it. It only delivers within the EU.

Okay wow, that actually calmed my nerves quite a bit πŸ˜‚ I really appreciate it!

Full transparency: I came across the source on Telegram, and since the feedback there looked good, I figured I'd test it out. They told me shipping shouldn't be a problem and that EU buyers get their orders from EU-based stock.

And honestly, even if the order ends up being a bust, it won't wreck me financially β€” shipping included, I paid roughly the same as what I shell out locally for just 1 month of Tirz πŸ˜…

What's really got me nervous is customs and whatever headaches might come with that πŸ˜‚ Especially since I personally know folks who ran into trouble buying fake designer bags off AliExpress πŸ˜‚

They also mentioned a free reship if customs grabs the package 1 time, which helped me relax a little more.

Thanks again for the guidance and for making me feel welcome 🀍

Also, if anyone has peptides they'd suggest giving a shot, I'm all ears 😊

For context: I'm a woman in my 30s, only using tirzepatide right now, and I've dropped about 12kg in just under 2 months so far!

Steroids and medications are controlled or banned substances, that part I get, but when it comes to peptides the regulatory picture is all over the place (not to mention the whole FDA versus EMA approval situation).

Take HGH and Insulin for example β€” their status is completely different from BPC-157, GHK-Cu or Selank.

What I want to figure out is where that leaves things legally. At this point I've lost the thread entirely.

Still, maybe we shouldn't turn this thread into that debate πŸ˜€

I really appreciate you putting in the effort to explain everything. It was genuinely useful and gave me a clearer picture of how things work 😊

Since you clearly have a solid grasp of this whole process, I'd honestly be happy to hear anything else you might share β€” advice, pointers, pitfalls to watch out for, or just general insight for people in the EU who are new to this 🀍

In particular, I'm curious about stuff like which shipping options tend to be more reliable, and what someone should reasonably anticipate if customs reaches out to them.

Thanks for having me!

Not at all, you're not hijacking anything β€” go right ahead. I'm still learning a ton, so any useful conversation or insight about this is more than appreciated! 😊

Whichever supplier you end up going with, make sure you put in the research and due diligence first. If a vendor is established and uses proper distribution methods, you shouldn't run into any problems.

And... welcome aboard!

Could it be that my line of work falls into this area? If not, what makes me so confident in my statements? I run a transport business that operates as a sub contractor for the largest courier firm globally (and it's not DHL!). I handle this stuff every single day.

The smartest move is to pick a reliable supplier who has plenty of positive reviews, 3rd party COA's, and who reships anything seized by customs or lost in transit. A guarantee like that tells you their shipping and delivery setup is solid. Should customs intercept your parcel and the quantity isn't large, the worst outcome is usually just losing it. Typically nobody asks you any questions. If they do, never claim it was for personal use. Say it's for research purposes only. You don't need to specify the type of research, since the law allows it. Officially importing from the grey market simply isn't possible. Get caught selling grey market peptides and you'll end up in jail. Maybe not for long, but still. The simple route is ordering from a legitimate company and having them declare it as vitamin supplements etc. They hold the paperwork needed for customs clearance, so it passes without problems. I've done it. Ordered from a pharmacy in India, it showed up in 3 days, I paid € 25 customs fee and it cleared the same day. Problem is, India won't have what you're after. Just compare vendors and choose wisely. The rest will be fine

Hello! Outside of GLP-1s, I’m also quite fresh when it comes to peptides, so this forum has already taught me quite a bit.

At first, the customs and shipping aspect really does come across as puzzling. It would be great if some of the seasoned EU folks could describe their own experiences with how it all works.

Happy to have you here, and I’m eager to keep learning together with everyone!

There is no reason to be puzzled. The distribution hub I deal with can handle as many as 500000 parcels each day. For 3-4 days every week, 1or 2 customs officers come to that facility, spending no more than 2.5hours per day checking packages that are suspicious or lack declarations. In that brief window, how many parcels do you imagine they can get through? If something is intercepted, it is gone. They simply do not have enough time to question you about your small purchase. You should not see yourself as a smuggler. Reliable vendors follow solid shipping methods. Simply set aside time to go through reviews and pick up knowledge from what other members have shared in various threads. My apologies! I realized later that you are located in the USA. I am completely unfamiliar with how things operate over there. However, from what I understand, the majority of suppliers maintain warehouses within the USA. So why would customs be a concern for you?

Has anyone come across a case where law enforcement showed up at someone's door once a package was intercepted? Over on the U.K. legal sub Reddit, I came across a thread about a guy whose parcel got held by customs and then police paid him a visit. Because of that, I'm now very hesitant about putting my own name or address on an order. That said, I haven't run into similar accounts here in this sub.

Hey, glad you're here! I'm also pretty fresh β€” it's been roughly 7 days since I signed up 😊 Another woman in her 30s here πŸ‘―β€β™€οΈ, based in Sweden. Which country are you in? (Totally fine to skip that if you'd rather not say.)

This place has been a great source of info for me, and hearing about what others have gone through has genuinely helped.

I've noticed mentions of both Tirz and Reta, so I'm wondering β€” what has it been like for you so far? How did you end up going with the option you're on now? ❀️

Slovenia is a blank for me, but a package I had shipped from one EU country to Sweden went through with no issues at any point.

Coming into the EU from outside is likely subject to more and tougher customs checks, though I wouldn't call intra-EU shipping completely without risk either

Thanks, and a warm welcome to you as well! Apologies for taking a while to get back to you 😊 Sharing is no problem at all β€” Croatia is where I'm from!

To be honest, Reta is something I haven't personally used, but based on what others have described about their own journeys, tirzepatide appears to do a better job at curbing appetite, so that's what I'm continuing with for the time being. The results I've gotten have been fantastic.

It's been 2 complete months of use for me, and as of today I'm beginning month 3, with 13 kg lost up to this point. The starting dose of 2.5 mg is still what I'm taking, though I intend to move up to 5 mg before long, likely from next month onward.

At some point in the past, roughly 2 years back, I was using Ozempic as well, and that gave me really strong results too.

How have things been going on your end? ❀️

I'm also based in Europe, and I've had my eye on a couple of options that have warehouses within the EU.

One of them comes in much cheaper than the other, and both say they dispatch from EU-based warehouses. That said, it doesn't guarantee the parcel won't be inspected.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I'm still nervous.
