Good to hear it helped you out. During an epi cycle, the quality of my sleep is something I genuinely enjoy. That said, lately I took a tip from a few other forum members and gave glycine a shot for sleep — and that has made a solid difference too. It doesn't match how I sleep while running epi, but the improvement has been quite noticeable.

Thanks for posting this — it's really intriguing to read.

Getting to sleep is my main problem (sometimes it takes as long as 1.5 hours, and I put on audiobooks to drift off, since my mind otherwise races unless there's something gentle to latch onto). What's worse is waking up to pee, since falling back asleep takes ages — that wipes out 2-3 hours of my sleep window.

For those middle-of-the-night injections, do you rely on a pen so dosing is simple when you're groggy?
I've come across the idea that taking some L-Theanine before bed can settle your mind, making it easier to drift off. I'm planning to put together a batch of sleep supplements containing magnesium glycinate and L-Theanine shortly, just to test whether it does anything.
For sleep, L-Theanine, Glycine, and Magnesium Glycinate are all quite beneficial. Along with those, I also take a small amount of Melatonin (.03mg), plus Gaba (500 mg), Ashwagandha (300mg), Apigenin (50 mg), and Taurine (2 grams). It functions as my own sleep blend. I've only recently resumed it — I had to "pause" because of a Septoplasty operation — and each night my sleep scores keep climbing. I ought to reintroduce Epitalon too, just to genuinely observe the results!
Right now my stack includes glycine, ashwaganda, taurine, magnesium glycinate, Ltheonine, plus likely a few more items that have slipped my mind.
Same here — dropping off is still a struggle for me. That said, DSIP did make a difference.

I keep hearing conflicting things about DSIP.

Did you notice anything significant from it?
For some people DSIP is a miracle, while for others it has zero effect. My own routine is 500mcg of DSIP alongside 500mcg of CJC no DAC right before bed, and my sleep is fantastic. After years of taking 2 doxylamine succinate tablets every night, I finally managed to taper off them. Now I can get to sleep without any pills, and on top of that I reach deep sleep, dream for long stretches, and my dreams are more pleasant every night. My guess is that genetics decide whether it works or not (?). Epitalon, though, did the reverse in my case - my insomnia got worse and I was awake the entire night, go figure. The only way to know is to test things yourself. Before buying a whole kit that could end up doing nothing for you, purchase just 1 vial of each.
Eventually I'd like to reach that kind of sleep too. It's been roughly 2 1/2 weeks since my septoplasty (with nasal valve repair & Bilateral Turbinate Reduction), done because of a recent UARS diagnosis... so my nose remains somewhat congested and I'm still waiting on the long term healing.

The left side took all the major work, so at this point even if I threw every peptide imaginable at it, things won't improve until it heals.

I've got some DSIP on hand that I could test, but right now I'm running an Epitalon cycle (500 mcg per night, roughly 1 hour before bed).
UARS sounds rough, and I'm sorry you're dealing with it.

I'll be having a septoplasty before long too, since my understanding is that it can make PAP therapy easier to stick with. Using Flonase spray has let me bring my turbinate swelling down somewhat, so with luck turbinate reduction won't be something I need later on.

One thing I'd like to know: did epitalon do anything for your daytime sleepiness? It seems like we're in a comparable situation, and I'd probably look into similar compounds myself

Ugh, that sounds rough. Hoping you get some relief soon! KLOW might be worth trying for post-op healing. Best of luck with the surgery!
Appreciate it! Recovery-wise, that initial 7-day stretch was rough... At the time I was on GLOW, and I basically started KPV the day after the operation (KLOW, isn't it?..).

That burn from the GLOW, though... (and that's even when I pinned it in the glute!!)

I underwent a sleep study (WatchPatOne)... what caught me off guard was the 12.9 Rdi's compared to a 2.7 AHI... I'm hoping this turns out to have been worthwhile... About a year before, I had soft tissue work done through a local ENT practice (Turbinate Reduction/Sinsuplasty and Swell Body Reduction). That was "Part 2" of the procedures... Septoplasty combined with the Nasal Valve Repair and Bilateral Turbinate Reduction.

Appreciate the kind words, mate!

My goal with Epitalon was simply improved sleep and a lower RDI, but so far the outcome has been "meh".. the left side of my nose remains fairly "crusty" after surgery, even though I'm cleared to return to work on Tuesday. As healing continues, that left-side crust will eventually come loose thanks to the Saline rinses (always sexy stuff when you get nasal work done) UARS is strange because even with broken/fragmented sleep.. my O2 stays ROCK SOLID around 96%, so I don't experience the usual/classic brain fog/fatigue that comes with Apnea.... I'm considering giving DSIP a try next maybe....

Appreciate it! Recovery-wise, that initial 7-day stretch was rough... At the time I was on GLOW, and I basically started KPV the day after the operation (KLOW, isn't it?..).

That burn from the GLOW, though... (and that's even when I pinned it in the glute!!)
I mixed KLOW80 with 3mL BAC, plus a separate KPV10 vial with 3mL BAC. From each, I draw 15 units, which delivers 2.5mg GHK, 500mcg TB, 500mcg BPC, and 1mg KPV. No stinging or pain occurs while injecting or after. When I only used KLOW for my 1st pin, a painful welt appeared and stuck around for 2 days—it hurt like a MF! I was close to quitting, but then I tried that combination. For injecting, I use a 31G 5/16 syringe into my butt. The change was massive.

I gave epi a shot, though I didn't stick with it regularly. There's still half a vial left over. Combining it with magnesium glycinate, though, made a huge difference. I stayed asleep the whole night and got a solid 8 to 10 hours. I can't remember ever getting that much uninterrupted sleep before.

Ran Epitalon alongside sermorelin, dosing before bed. 1mg of each, every day for 30 days.

Total sleep time didn't increase, though falling asleep hit hard. Week 1 brought insanely vivid dreams, then that faded.

Now that the cycle's wrapped up, I'm switching over to HGH, which is also said to benefit sleep.

Injecting into the glute is a total game changer... though once in a while I hit a "son of a b*tch!" moment and then it's roughly 3 days of nothing but "why does my butt hurt, tho!.." 😭😭

I ran 2 cycles of Epitalon at 20 days each, and my sleep didn't improve, though I keep cycling it anyway because of the anti aging benefits. DSIP doesn't get me to sleep quicker or extend how long I sleep, but when I wake up I feel more refreshed and rested.

Last night I gave Epitalon a shot.

About 60 minutes before going to bed, I took 1mg. What I observed:

  • While reading prior to drifting off, I felt a strong sense of calm. A totally chilled-out state. It's not like I'm normally tense before bed, but this felt distinctly different.
  • Normally when I read in bed, I get very drowsy. As soon as my eyelids get heavy, I close the book and I'm out within seconds. Last night that drowsiness didn't really show up. I stayed in this calm, flow-like state while reading but didn't get truly sleepy. In the end I made myself stop reading and attempted to sleep. Even so, falling asleep did appear to happen fast.
  • Most nights I already have very intense, vivid dreams, and last night was the same.
  • My actual sleep wasn't good. I woke up basically every hour, on the hour. That's not unusual for me; maybe 1 or 2 times a week I sleep like that.
  • The odd part was that with each awakening, my body and limbs felt incredibly relaxed. As if they were getting deep sleep while my brain stayed somewhat restless. A very weird feeling, since I've never experienced that before.
  • One factor that might have kept me from deep sleep: my brain seemed stuck in analytical tracking mode. I knew I'd taken the Epitalon and spent the whole night deliberately thinking about and analyzing how it was affecting me.

I'm aiming for a 10-20 night cycle. I'm not sure whether to bump it up and try 2mg or stay at 1mg for a while first.

I'd say my sleep is usually average anyway. I've been on Reta for 5 weeks and my sleep hasn't changed much since then. Maybe a little better? I've also been on KLOW for roughly a week and that hasn't appeared to change anything. Last night with Epitalon 1mg was definitely a different sleep experience for me.
