Hi, guys. New here, but lurking around has been happening for awhile — reading posts, until the rules finally came up (which, yes, I did read!) along with how an introduction is meant to go, so you all know I'm not nefarious. And here I am.
The basics: 41yo F, 5'6.5", 175 was the SW, 130-135 is the GW, 128 is the CW. Lifting is my thing. Nursing is my trade, married to another RN and very happily so, with two boys who are mainly awesome, sometimes annoying and often gross. Endoscopy is where I work and I love it.
Name brand Zepbound is what I originally started with in June of 2025, some GLP Reddit groups got joined, breadcrumbs were stumbled upon and the path followed. A huge thank you goes to the members here — being stocked up for years ahead is where I am now. $250 a month on name brand was never going to fit easily into our budget right now.
Learning more is mainly why I'm here. The healthiest I've been since before the kiddos arrived: cholesterol 187, down from 399, no more aching joints, and the fact these medications were developed in my lifetime absolutely thrills me. Aside from that obvious reason which we all know and I don't need to mention, the community itself is genuinely why I'm here. Posting much after this is unlikely, probably just comments on others' threads, but interacting with you people is definitely something I'm looking forward to. A pretty cool group with great info and aims is my impression, and being a part of it makes me really grateful!
