I used to watch the reruns with my dad. That and M*A*S*H. Loved both.

The problem is that plans recognize that they have to do it collectively to realize the savings. People often change health insurance many times over their lives, often because their employers change and those employers purchase different plans. So if Athem pays for your GLP1 and a few years later you switch to UHC, Anthem doesn’t benefit from your improved health. UHC does.

It works with Medicare because the risk is spread out amongst the Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans because they’re effectively sharing the same patient population due to demographic.
