Hi everyone,

Some background: I spent close to 12 months on sema and dropped just under 30kg, then hit a stall. I switched to tirz and have worked up to 7.5mg, but I'm not really feeling much from it.

I'm weighing two paths — go up to 10mg Tirz, or make the switch to Reta. I'd love to hear about dosage, advice or personal experience with a Reta starting dose for someone with that kind of glp1 history, and also from anyone who has made a similar switch to the one above.

Thanks

There's a third path you could take: stack reta on top of 10mg tirz. For instance, 2mg of reta three days before or after your next tirz injection.

That's the approach I'd take — and the one I actually followed.... Tirz on Monday, then Reta on Thursday, with Sema on Saturday.... 👍

That is another option I might think about too — have you given it a try yourself?
My tirz journey began at the end of January this year. I think I brought reta into the stack around April. Sema was added roughly 8 weeks back. Right now my doses are 10mg tirz, 3mg reta, and .25mg sema. Since Feb 15 I've dropped about 80lbs, going from 242 to 161.

Stacking gets a strong recommendation from me. At the moment it feels like I'm getting what all three offer while avoiding the sides.

That's a win!...really great, msJ.... 👍 😍

Not sure I could handle all 3!

I'm planning to place an order within a couple of days, and I think I'll go with the Tirz/Reta stack from the grey

I've been doing some stacking too! That got me down to my ultimate goal of 135 lbs — I'm 46f, 5'7", and my highest weight was 275. Those last 10 lbs were quite stubborn, and bumping my tirz dose usually means more constipation for me, so I gave reta a try and boom, a month later I hit goal. My current routine is 1.5 mg reta and 5 mg tirz, with reta on Monday and Tirzday on Thursday. I've also thrown in a semaglutide dose now and then when I was feeling a bit more munchy, and it works great too. Like the other user said, this way I seem to get all the benefits without major sides.

Nice work on your success!

And I really love "Tirzday"!!

I've decided to go ahead with it. My usual tirz shot day is Friday — for reta, would Sunday or Monday be the better choice?

Just so you know—using reply sends a notification to the person you're asking, while the bell at the top of the page is for alerts.

If people do need to stack them, most wait 3-4 days afterward so they land on the other GLP's trough.

A 4-day gap lets you line up reta's peak with your trough; if you want 3 days to cover satiety better, that's worth trying too.

The graph below shows Tirz peaks on Saturdays and troughs on Sunday

I'd put 3-4 days between them so the different half lives work in your favor — for example, tirz on Friday means reta on Monday or Tuesday.

when you've got two separate injection days going, make sure they're in a spot you'll actually see. that exact problem is why i added reminders to pep planner — "wait which one is today" is a real thing lol
