EDIT: For the love of all that's dear to you, do not do what I did, stablish a treatment with your doctor, get blood work done, and follow common sense. I acted stupid and you can avoid by just not doing it!
So... Tirzday... I decided to switch to reta, I'd been stacking Tirz/Reta 5/1.5mg and just decided to go all in and got 4mg reta.... (I knew I shouldn't have, the plan was to remain on 5mg tirz and titrate reta by .5mg every 4 weeks, but I digress)
After a couple of hours I started feeling a sligthly tired, then a bit hot, an hour more and started feeling like a headache was coming, I checked BP and it was high, not alarmingly but like 130/90 which is like my normal when I'm off BP meds, my BPMs were just abit high like 80, and I felt a slight numbing/tingling in my left arm....
Funny thing, a friend fif the same except he had not taken his tirz in weeks and went straight to 4mg reta that he took from his wife who has titrated up to it properly. and he had the same symptoms exactly but more pronounce, he did have very high BPM like 140, but I think he is curently in a more compromised situation health wise.
Next day both of us had normal BP I even had lower than normal at 105/70, and we both saw 2-lbs less on the scale, then 2 days later I had 125/80 which is what I see more often nowadays.
I am diabetic and with 5mg tirz I had been seeing lower fasted glucose numbers, hovering around 100 as opposed to 140 just 10 weeks before, and these few days with just reta it's been hovering around 110.....
I will go back to my previous plan, glucose management is more important at the moment, I plan on getting to 5mg tirz and 4mg reta, see what happens to weight and other health markers and stay there as long as I see the scale moving...
