Does the heat screw up the pep when I order

I highly doubt the Chinese warehouses they are sitting in or the shipping containers are air conditioned, so I wouldn't worry. Lyophilized peptides are heartier than people think (imo). Reconstituted...that's a different beast.

I try and get the peps inside as quick as I can, but the lyophilization involves heat and cold in the manufacturing process, so meh, probably ok...
 
They’re exposed to some heat in the Lyophilization process. What does the damage is to cycle them repeatedly from freezing to 120 degrees
 
No, besides not being cooling from leaving the manufacturer facility to sitting in my mailbox in 95* in full sun to sitting in my 90* my garage till I label them, I've never noticed a issue.
 
i said same thought when rushing back home to make sure my first order got straight into the freezer, then dawned on me my local postie defo wasnt transporting it all in a refrigerated van from the refrigerated warehouse so i rush a little less these days 🤣

It may cause condensation inside the vial but it would have to be direct sunlight or extreme humidity.
 
They will degrade significantly at temperatures high enough to cook an egg, which is around 55-60 °C / 130-140 °F.

Peptides do not have a quaternary structure; it’s not like the coagulation of egg whites. The peptide bonds will begin to break down, along with some oxidation or reactions with the remaining 2-3% of water. Above 80°C/175°F, they are definitely cooked.

Just like when you're boiling eggs or barbecuing, it doesn't happen immediately. Not everything deteriorates at once, and things take "a certain amount of time."

If the package were to sit in my mailbox for a few hours at 45+°C, like today, I’d assume there’s 20% less and do a first pin to see. Since the vials are often overfilled by 20%, I wouldn’t even bother doing the math. Geronimo!
