Whatever you're taking must be seriously strong if this plan seems reasonable. Bacteria ride in on air. Benzyl alcohol won't eliminate bacteria—it only stops them from multiplying. Shoot your blend into the fatty layer of skin = infection. Go deeper and nick a small blood vessel = sepsis. Perhaps start by sterilizing everything in a pressure cooker... Be sure to record all of it and keep buddies nearby during the attempt (so they can get you to the ER fast and upload the clip). 1.) It's clear this guy wanted eyes on him, and it seems some people fell for it. OR 2.) He lacks the basic sense to heat water without scorching it.

I'm not sure, but it seems to me that getting started costs well beyond $10-20k. In this field, that figure is absurdly small.

I find it amusing how many replies my post got about the difficulty. It's honestly not that difficult.

The real hurdle lies in the chemistry needed to produce everything. That's not the point I'm making at all.

Anyway, seems like my idea didn't sit well with anyone here. Haha
 
This is exactly the phenomenon Dunning and Kruger described. When we lack sufficient knowledge about something, we usually misjudge it by a wide margin. Not long ago, someone suggested making their own bac water and putting it up for sale — after all, how difficult could that possibly be?
