Do you account for overages?

Yes, each time — I simply enter it into the calculator.

That's my approach too.

I'm not a fan of unexpected side effects — I prefer things to stay calm and predictable.

With anything new, I begin at a low dose and raise it gradually.

That method has served me well.

Most of you place far more confidence in testing than I do. A while back I took one vial from a kit of 10, and after a few days of using it I felt hungry. I was snacking before bed since I couldn't sleep for thinking about how hungry I was. My wife used that same vial and got the same outcome — hungry, with no weight loss. I threw the vial away and started another one. That one was fine, just like the vial before the bad one. Same kit.

If vials within a single kit aren't consistent, how can one tested vial from a group of kits be trusted? That wasn't the first time I'd doubted a vial that seemed to do nothing. With Reta the effect was simply more obvious, and I had a second opinion to back it up.

If the bad vial had been Tesamorelin or Mots-C, would I have been able to pick out a bad vial from a kit?

I'm quite new to this and still figuring things out. I recently received results from 2 separate labs for the same batch. For KLOW80, the two results differed by 4mg.

When a vial tests at 34 mg instead of 30 mg or similar, I tend to draw slightly past the 3mL mark of bac water — a couple of tick marks, nothing exact. Usually I don't even remember to do it.

I consistently go by the average from testing... particularly when it lets me get one more dose out of a vial. Since I'm using the calculator regardless, why wouldn't I?

After roughly 24 hours following a pin, I (believe I) can sense whether a batch runs overfilled or underfilled. Based on that, I adjust my later pins. If a pin feels weak, I may add a 0.2mg pin 48 hours afterward to compensate for an underfill.
.2mg, why not just reconstitute according to the actual fill from the start?

Same here. Honestly, if it's only 2mg or something, I usually just go with the listed size, especially when it's a 60mg or larger vial. But if it's 4 or more, I'll check the calculator.

The way I see it, they produce a big batch rather than one vial at a time. There's no way to know how much goes into each fill, but I'd imagine they go by weight or something like that.

Normally I ignore it and treat the extra as a cushion against degradation. That said, I just received some Tirz 60mg that came back at 72mg. That feels like a lot of overfill, so I'm not sure what to do with that kit. Had the overage been 8mg or less, I wouldn't worry much — unless I were testing something completely new.
For several vendors, a 10-15% overfill shows up consistently across all their peptides. In my own calculations, I always build in the average tested overfill.

My own doses are still on the low side next to what other members here use. So for me it makes little difference whether a Retatrutide vial holds exactly 20 mg, or turns out to be 24 mg or 18 mg. At a 4 mg dose, the possible margin of error isn't very meaningful, and my 129-kilogram cadaver can take it without trouble.

Honestly, that describes me perfectly... I start out with the best intentions, but when the moment arrives... I occasionally come up short and forget... and if I'm being honest, it's probably most of the time.... 🙂

I've got an R30 kit on the way that came back at 38.93mg on testing. Treating it as if it were plain R30 seems like an error to me, since that works out to 30% over the stated dose.

With that much extra in the vial, there's no way to overlook it! Great find!!

When calculating your dose, do you consider the tested overages? Such as when a 30mg tests roughly 34mg or do you still calculate it without the extra 4mg or whatever?

Yes, every time. Reta taught me a lesson the hard way — from now on I always reconstitute according to the mass stated on the COA.

Uh, yes. Where on earth did that come from?

I mark the label with the average from the test results, then run it through a calculator. I just received a T60 that came back in the high 70's across three vials — that's roughly a 30% overfill.

Hold on for it.

MATH IS HARD.

If the plan was for us to do math, there'd be a keypad built into our foreheads... These days I'm just glad Bobo handles all the heavy lifting for me.... 👍 😍
