Do we tell friends and family about reta?

I'm honestly interested in hearing where everyone stands on this. When someone you're close to—a friend or a relative—wants to know what's behind your physical change (the weight you dropped), how do you answer them? And if you do decide to talk about it, do you go as far as handing over every site, resource, vendor detail, and so on? That's quite a bit of information to pass along if the point is to describe your own journey and then demonstrate how they can get reta at a FAIR price.
When I inquired with a person regarding how they had changed so much, the answer I got was reta. They even set me up with a source at 1/2 of what resellers charge. All he mentioned was having a plug in CN, nothing beyond that. That sent me down the rabbit hole...and now I'm here.

Friends and even people I don't know have gotten grey market testing compounds through me. My approach is to hand over resources, make it very clear they should do their own research, and ask them to check back in a few weeks if interest remains.

Should they return, I'll source whatever they're after. Everything is third-party tested. When supplies are needed, I pull from what I already have on hand.

Medicine is the family business on both sides — my parents' generation and my own. The two exceptions are me, working in finance, and a female relative in tech. She's shelling out a fortune for single vials. I pointed out how absurd the price is and said I could introduce her to a handful of chosen suppliers. Her response was to ask me to handle the whole thing. That's what I'll do.

As for everyone else in my family, not a single word about grey would leave my lips. They aren't even aware that I glp.
My sister-in-law and a nurse who is a close family friend both knew about this already. Each had used tirz before. Insurance had been covering it for 1 of them until that stopped, while the other was spending 199 each month at a compounding pharmacy.

With the nurse, all I did was hand over sources and walk through how to store it, how long it keeps, and the dose calculations. For the sista, I gave her a t30 kit plus supplies and a 10 minute lesson that began with "Write down everything I say." Roughly 75 days later I texted her "Throw that bac out, theres another vial in your mailbox." She grew into handling her own supplies and picked up 3 more kits from Champion here...

That makes sense to me. My brother could really stand to drop 40lbs, and I'd like to fill him in—except that once his wife knows, my sister will too, and it just snowballs from there.

There is one buddy of mine here in town who I might loop in, though. Still weighing it.

Leading a horse to peptides is easy, but making it inject them? Not happening.

I’m open about it with my whole neighborhood and everyone at the gym.

Yesterday I went into a small independent pharmacy nearby to ask whether they stock Bac.

Before long, I found myself talking to the pharmacist about Reta and this forum.

Alright, so I had to practically plead with my CVS to get syringes — which, legally speaking, they're allowed to sell. One location refused me outright. The other one did sell me 20, but then insisted I'd need a doctor's prescription for any more. smh
Let's be real here, you're completely fabricating when you reach that point, right? My dad uses 5 units of insulin, name the specific insulin, how long he's been on it, and so on.

My view is that these peptides are revolutionary and can be life-saving. I'm not going to keep that from the people I care about.
This brings back a hilarious memory. I was on the clock at a missile assembly plant, and I'd just spent the whole weekend smoking crack. So when Tuesday rolls around and I show up for my shift (I'd phoned in sick Monday with a crack hangover), this black girl I was friendly with at work looks at me, grins, and says "Damn Birdwhacker, you lost weight! You been smoking crack?"
What? No—I told them it was for peptides, lol. Walmart sold me a box of 31g without any issue, but CVS refused.

True, but as soon as you walk in, you have to lie right away and claim the insulin syringes are for your insulin, plus have a ready-made story about the type and dosage

In Florida, a prescription isn't mandatory either, though a pharmacist can choose to refuse the sale for whatever reason — they could even insist on a script.

Ultimately, sourcing from the same channels that real diabetics depend on, just so we can inject our Chinese rubbish, isn't something we should be doing.

edit: Wait, you told them it was for peptides? Might as well have told them it's for steroids or heroin LOL

What I do is hand over materials so they can learn on their own, plus just the essentials. Since I'm not in medicine, I steer clear of telling anyone how to treat themselves. The clips I've picked up along the way get forwarded — how to recon, how to inject, how to store. More than 1 calculator link goes out too. I'll give a 3ml bac and mention it should be thrown out once recon is done. There have also been times I had friends come by while I recon and filter.

In most counties around here, mailing is permitted.

Still, if you head into a pharmacy, you have to know how to play it. Don't be foolish and say it's for peptides/gear/drugs

My journey went from name-brand Zep, to compounded, and now gray. If they're curious about the gray, I'm glad to pass along everything I've picked up.
Is your state one where mailing is prohibited? Walmart, Amazon, and 50 other companies will ship them to you.

In most counties around here, mailing is permitted.

Still, if you head into a pharmacy, you have to know how to play it. Don't be foolish and say it's for peptides/gear/drugs
I gave it a shot one time. Their reaction was as if I were a heroin addict. They told me to go through my doctor or insurance company.

If someone's curious or straight-up asks, I tell them. What are you gonna do, run your mouth at me over it? Screw that, I'll knock you silly! Oh wow, guess you heard birdwhacker's in fantastic shape thanks to medical breakthroughs? Get outta here.

I keep talking about GLPs and the telehealth service I came across. As for the rest, I stick to fight club rules. This stays my own private matter, and that's how it will remain.
That makes sense to me. My brother could really stand to drop 40lbs, and I'd like to fill him in—except that once his wife knows, my sister will too, and it just snowballs from there.

There is one buddy of mine here in town who I might loop in, though. Still weighing it.
From what I've lived through, once you suggest reta to big guys, they're all in on diet and exercise.

I’ve kept quiet about it. I’m fine owning my own choices regarding what I put in my body, but I’m not willing to hand grey to relatives or close friends.
Leading a horse to peptides is easy, but making it inject them? Not happening.

When someone asks, my answer is straightforward: "Chinese drugs." That usually makes them pause and look twice. Should they want more details, I keep an email ready packed with everything and all the sites I've found helpful. But beyond passing along information, I won't purchase for anyone else—my mom is the only exception.

I get it, haha — they claimed a doctor's prescription was necessary, even though the law doesn't demand one.
I attempted to purchase from a site that was recommended by members of this community, but they refused to complete the sale without a prescription.

At my job, a few colleagues also use peptides, so it's something we can discuss openly. With friends and family, though, I keep it to myself unless peptides come up in conversation first. A lot of people pass judgment on things they haven't looked into. On top of that, they're quick to spread misinformation. I constantly hear them say they'd never touch GLPs, because they've been told it makes people go blind.

That one's a favorite of theirs, plus it'll wreck your kidneys and make your teeth fall out. According to an AI reply, if they bring about ongoing heartburn, vomiting and diarrhea (spelling aside, I tried my best), then they'll definitely put a strain on your kidneys and wear down enamel....

By the way, that's a documented adverse effect of semaglutide. Among 1/10000 long-term sema users, blindness occurs.

My wife reckons I’ve lost it… my sister is okay with it, my parents stayed quiet, my close friend wants zero details and is happy to pay me to handle everything except the injection, and plenty of friends or family are completely in the dark. 😂

I think a zero got left out, friend. 1/10000. The people it mostly hits are those who already have vision issues or diabetes. And on top of that, Reta isn’t a semaglutide.

Ah, got it. That's much less concerning.

I wasn't referring to reta. I meant semaglutide.
