Do lyophilized peptides survive long shipping times?

I'm based in Australia, and after reading so much about lyophilized peptides and how they hold up during transit, I've begun to question whether buying them is a waste of both my time and money.!!!😠😫

Some of what I've purchased was probably fine, though those came via FedEx and took a week or less to arrive.

That supplier no longer ships to this country.

So these days, with orders coming from China and delivery taking a couple of weeks or more, it feels like I'm simply throwing away my money and time.

Right now I have a package that's been in transit for over 2 weeks. It's coming from China.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.

I know there are some very knowledgeable people here, so just reaching out. 🙏☺️

In all likelihood, those vials spent far longer sitting in a warehouse than they did being shipped. The stability of peptides is far greater than what most people have been told. At room temperature they remain good for months, in a fridge for years, and in a freezer for decades. Janoshik's founder, Peter Magic, discusses exactly this in a YT interview, and he mentions coming across a box of peptides he had forgotten about for 10 years(!). When he tested them, only about 4% potency had been lost over that entire period. Any researcher would benefit from watching that interview. You'll be fine.

Don't stress—they hold up quite well, even when kept at ambient temperature. The only things to steer clear of are intense light and elevated temperatures, since those can break down the peptide.
 
Even peptides that have already been reconstituted take a real beating during transit and still end up working fine. Do you imagine USPS handles brand name, or telehealth compounded Sema and Tirz, with any care, given that those get shipped every single day?
