Hi everyone - glad to have landed here.
Detroit, born and raised. The forum has been my reading for a minute, and finally an account was made and an introduction written.
Training has been most of my life — powerlifting and MMA for almost 21 years — so the gym has always been my outlet. The last few years got busy in a different way though. Work and responsibilities piled up, and even though training continued, staying dialed in on weight loss was tough.
About five months ago a GLP-1 was started and it honestly helped me get past that hurdle. Around 30 lbs is down and day to day I just feel better. Getting consistent again has been the biggest thing for me, and that's been a huge quality-of-life upgrade.
Being here is something I'm grateful for, and keeping my health improving long-term is always on my mind — not just for me, but to be strong and healthy for my family too. Connecting with everyone is what I look forward to.
Glad you guys had me.
