Hello everyone,

55M here. A 100km ultramarathon has been my training target since Oct 2025. The race falls in Sept 2026 and I put in long slow running up to 10 hours per week. Upper body weight training too, purely so I don't get stupid skinny by loosing muscle mass.

A friend urged me into peptides in February, starting with NAD+, Wolverine. GHK-cu, MOTS-C, Lipo C with B12 KPV, Reta, Tirz and SS-31 have all gone in over the last couple months. Every one subq injections.

Early on there were improvements and I felt better, with recovery and skin health both improved. Small running injuries cleared up fairly quickly (much better than a 55yo should expect). Prevention and weight loss are both good news, though whether it has helped performance I cannot say.

Body weight has come down from 225 to 199 since Oct 2025. Running legs have arrived and some additional upper body muscle got built.

The one issue I am dealing with is Reta raising my heart rate, and with zone 2 training the whole point is keeping heart rate below the zone. Slowing down has been my workaround, though I know Reta/Tirz needs to come out soon so my heart rate can normalize. I suppose I am interested to see what happens and whether I run faster at the same heart rate once Reta is no longer driving it up.

A strategy for my post-ultramarathon peptide use is also starting to take shape. Tissue recovery will be key, and so will not packing on weight after the race.

So that is my story…keen to learn and to share with you all.
