I just came across a comment saying a customs seizure could result in losing your PreCheck or Known Traveler Number. Has this actually occurred for anyone here? The package would be going to the US.
 
Losing your pre-check status takes a serious screw-up. A peptide package showing up at your door probably wouldn’t move the needle. If you were the one sending it, though, that could be another matter. And if fentanyl were involved, your pre-check would be the least of your problems.

Is that actually correct? From everything I've come across (and that's quite a bit), I've never once seen Pre-Check or KTN pulled because of something at customs.

What I have come across were multiple accounts where Global Entry was lost due to a customs matter; this showed up both in this community and on reddit ('tardit). So that does appear to be real.

As for me, my own concern was whether a Top Secret security clearance could be put at risk because of it, though I haven't encountered any concrete case of that happening.

I've come across accounts along the same lines as what you're describing. Personally, I wouldn't take that risk whatsoever.

My guess is that if you hold a top secret and wire some crypto over to China, your PM could suddenly decide to have a chat with you. 🤣
 
This worries me. So I stick to buying from "US warehouses" or US resellers, who charge a hefty premium but still far below what a compounding pharmacy or brand-name version costs.
