Still figuring this out and attempting to wrap my head around it. I notice batches get tested and sometimes come back above what the label says, like reta 30 testing at 34, so I figure you'd factor that in when reconstituting and use 3.4ml of bac to keep dosing easy. What I'm wondering is: if no testing has been done yet, are people holding off on using the reta, or are they going ahead and treating it as 30 without stressing about it running high? I'd think if I started my rat at .5mg and reconstituted assuming 30 when it's really 34, my dose would end up off. The more I try to learn and finally pull the trigger on a buy, the more questions come up and hold me back

Many individuals hold off until they see third-party test results. That includes me, except when dealing with a source I feel reasonably confident about — say, a reseller sourcing from China who is open regarding how they buy and test, and who shares the results prior to listing items for sale. (And by the way, having faith in that approach with any vendor does NOT amount to an endorsement.) What we're actually waiting on isn't the extra quantity, but the purity and the "what's really inside the vial" — though overfill or underfill does factor into that. For the majority of people, an overfill won't meaningfully change the dose, since a 10% bump isn't significant with most peps, yet it still makes sense to adjust your reconstitution for it so your dosing stays consistent.

So I should hold off on purchasing reta until the test results come out? I've never ordered from this supplier before, but the

Reviews seem pretty good

I agree with what was said before me. For the majority of users, an overage usually won't be big enough to affect dosing (though there are certainly people for whom it would). What matters most is purity and what is actually inside the vial.

Say I want something like reta, and nobody has tested the batch from that particular vendor. In that case I'll check results from other sellers offering the same dose and cap color.

Most sellers likely source from a small number of labs that produce big runs of the same peptide at the same dose using the same cap colors. So if the R30 purple cap I'm after comes from a vendor with no test data, I'll track down several other sources that did test R30 purple cap and look at their results. Things tend to line up pretty closely.

If the vendor I'm buying from has a solid reputation and plenty of other batches have tested well, I'll likely assume the untested product is okay.

Naturally there's a good deal of risk and uncertainty here, so as with anything else in the grey market, each person has to judge their own comfort with that risk.

My first-ever order played out exactly that way. I paid for R48, but the vial that arrived was R58. No COA had come out yet, and I was so eager — like a kid in a candy store — that I went ahead with dose 1 anyway, going off the trials I'd been tracking. If I'd known at the time just how much extra was in there, and with no idea how my body would react the first time, waiting would have been the smarter move. Suppose I'd turned out to be an over-responder, the way some folks are — I might have spent the night throwing up or dealing with some other bad reaction. As it happens, Reta fits me about as well as it possibly could, but I had no way of knowing that back then. Live and learn.

Yeah, that's the thing I'm trying to work out. For the reta 30 I was asking about, the seller told me the testing hasn't been completed, so I didn't know whether to hold off, look for a different vendor, or just go ahead and get it and use it regardless.

That's what it comes down to. How do everyday buyers rate the products' quality and consistency, and do you have faith in them? Some vendors are trusted so much that plenty of people skip testing altogether, I realize. Others, I know, run tests on every purchase they make. That said, certain vendors do offer up-to-date COAs that line up with the batch being sold. Everything hinges on what you're comfortable with, and that choice is highly personal.

Since I'm just starting out with this, my confidence in anyone is pretty low right now. I believed I'd come across a solid source, but then he told me the testing hasn't been finished, so now I'm right back where I began.

I mix it up according to what the testing says the mass actually is. A few sellers are way off. I've had results showing 30+% more than what was listed. Being short on the fill is not as common. Still, it does occur.

Sounds like I'll wait for the test results—he mentioned they'd take 2 weeks—or look for a different vendor.

Suppose a kit shows up at your door. You've got a rough idea what's inside, yet also no real certainty.

(this is the point where you decide for yourself what "safety line" means.)

Following the plan, I would reconstitute a single vial. (there is a plan, right?)

After that, let the rats have a bit of time to find out whether they survive.

Starting low is non-negotiable regardless. One week at a time. Watch what unfolds.

Keep it together. Stay chill. 😎

If a vendor can't show a COA, I'm out. That's the bare minimum. It matters even more when the glps in question are the ones they're discounting. It tells you they're either sloppy or cutting corners.

That's roughly how I look at it, as long as the gap isn't big. The batch before this one came in slightly under on volume — 1mg short — so I changed how much BAC I used.

On the COA, is the product quantity listed, or does that only get confirmed through third-party testing?

Janoshik's results list both the purity and the amount. For us, having a 3rd party test adds an extra safeguard🙂
