Cold season ahead — I dread the amount of layering I'll need

I used to be fairly muscular, though I was carrying extra body fat I didn't want. I began Reta in the spring and lost roughly 50 pounds (my estimate: 20 of muscle, 30 of fat). Over the past month, even with autumn temps that aren't that harsh, I've needed extra layers. Once the real cold hits, I'll be bundled up like a penguin given how many clothes I'll have to put on.

That’s exactly where my head went right away!

Hello everyone.

Being cold or feeling chilly gets discussed a lot in this community, and searching for words like chilly or chills will bring up those threads. -- You'll get plenty of suggestions and replies right away 🙂

I’ve given most of them a go, but hardly anything gets me warm.

Honestly, it doesn’t seem that complicated to me. Would you head out on a 20* day with no jacket? Give sweaters a shot, or just deal with it.

Was a pretty built guy but carrying unwanted body fat. Started Reta in the spring and dropped about 50 pounds (I’d say 20 muscle and 30 fat). For the last month, I’ve had to layer even with relatively mild autumn temperatures. Going to look like a penguin when it comes to all the clothes I will need to wear when it’s cold.

I feel you on this!

It was 45 degrees today and I was wearing a long sleeve undershirt, work shirt and pants, plus my hoodie, a coat and my hat... A co-worker of mine said "Jesus Christ man! Go eat a sandwich!!.. "

(My co workers show me no sympathy 🤷🤷)

Once Wisconsin gets cold, I'm going to be in REAL trouble 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶😅😅😅😅

The penguin era is real. A lot of people here say it gets better once your body settles at the new weight, but the wool socks usually stay put.
