Hi All,

I mixed up CJC and IPA, each with 2ml BAC. After 2 days of pinning, this morning I found that my CJC has turned cloudy and shows visible particles separating out.

Could it be bad BAC water? Or the fridge temperature?

I used the same water and the same vial(s) to reconstitute my Reta and IPA, and those are fine.

For anyone who has dealt with this, can it still be salvaged, or does it need to be thrown out?

What methods have people tried that might work or actually did work? I've read that adding extra bac water to dilute it could be helpful?

Any knowledge or advice is appreciated as always! TIA

When I mixed CJC for the first time, it went cloudy on me. CJC is quite fragile. My one tip: get quality Hospira (Pfizer) bacteriostatic water. Then store the peptide in the refrigerator.

I had been considering that route, but ended up making do with what was on hand…

What was going on around the time it happened? Was the BAC water from a vendor?

Were you able to salvage the vial, or did you just let it go?

I never kept that vial around. Instead, I went ahead and bought Hospira and will test a different vial. The BAC water I had been using came from amazon. My guess is that the pH is either too acidic or too alkaline for the cjc.

What was your experience like with this? The identical situation as the original poster just occurred to me too.

If a vial has gone cloudy, throw it out. Use Hospira when reconstituting. As a general practice with CJC, keep an EpiPen on hand in case of a severe allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis.
