So the dumb ass that I am I have changed my schedule back and forth to the point that my body don't seem to know what dose is circulating in my body at the moment.

From 10mg a week to 10mg every 5 days to 5mg every 3 days to 7mg every 3 days. Now I feel stupid and I can't really tell if the tirz is working or not. I'm not gaining any weight but I'm not losing it either which is the whole point. Ok I've had a vacation for 2 weeks but didn't go nuts and trained almost as hard as usual but still I understand if I stood still during that time but I'm still still. On the scale.

I didn't loose weight very fast earlier either because of training and eating protein rich for muscle growth. But at least a little bit every week. Now nothing.

So I want back to the good 'ol days and my thinking (do keep in mind that I'm dumb ok!) is that I go back to every 5 days or every 7 days and do it slowly like adding an extra day and 0,5mg after every pin until I'm back both dose and schedule.

The whole point of me keeping my lower dose was when I took my mounjaro and it became way too expensive to up the dose but now I have half the fridge full of tirz.

How does that sound? 5 days or 7? Up the dose gradually?

Food noise and cravings slowly comes after 5 days for me but it's not that bad. I'm a grown man and can handle it! Too bad I'm mentally 10 years old 😂

My unprofessional 2 cents worth is you need to achieve a steady state...any steady state...first before you decide what to try next. You're bouncing all over the place. Believe me, I get the frustration and temptation to make changes on the fly when you're stuck, but it's just not a good strategy. There's a reason the general counsel is to wait until you're seeing something that needs to be addressed for at least 4 weeks before taking an action. As an example, I JUST added Cag a week ago to try to address a sure enough stall, after 1 week it killed appetite but no weight loss? OMG, panic mode! But cag takes at least a month to achieve a steady state in your system, so tamp down the panic and wait it out.

I'd suggest deciding on SOMETHING, like maybe 6 day rotation of Tirz since you have it around, and wait a month or MORE to see what it's actually doing for you.

There's almost no right answer to schedule. Goes by the rule, pick one and be a dick about it. Just be consistent.

You may be in the group of low responder to GLPs. I have never got repulsed by food, or completely forget to eat effect from GLPs. All I get is easier adherence to my calorie goal, and unplanned binges are far more controlled. Not sure your current meal plan or how strict you are, but might be time to lock in and truly weigh and track all of your food.

I've responded good to the tirz and lost 27kg / 59.5lb over 7 months. Then it was time to up the dose from 10mg to 12,5mg Mounjaro and I got a slight heart attack seeing the price of that. 10mg was still extremt expensive but doable but not the new price so I thought I was going to call it quits and hope for the best but I found gray so here I am.

Now I need to get back to the steady 10mg until it's not working as well anymore. We all know the feeling when the dose is beginning to fail so to speak. And then up the dose and follow the plan that I was going by. Wait until the elora is here and checks out to be good so I can boost the progress.

I'm 100% committed to my food plan and have been all along. No bingeing or eating something bad. I'm having problems getting to my daily calorie intake per day and same with protein. Almost forcing myself to get it all in each day. I'm not repulsed by food either but I don't really care about it either so it's not hard to eat right. Not even on my birthday at the restaurant I wanted to eat something "bad". I had a nice salad and was happy with it.

Don't be upset if your loss is not linear, we all react differently and I doubt the median is even linear.

I lost more my first week than I did my last 8 weeks.

The good news is that: slow and steady wins the race!

I was afraid I was going to fast and wanted a better pace.

In the end I hit a goal I never imagined for myself and I did it in a very rapid time.

There were weeks I gained or lost none, then weeks I only lost 1lb.

it took me 8 weeks to lose the last 8lbs to hit my goal.

I agree with @spanky2026

get leveled out and then take a look at how you want to change.

You will get there!

How long has your stall been? If a few weeks, you may have to lower calories and this is not a dose issue if you are almost forcing yourself to reach your calorie goal. This isn't a dose issue, but calorie issue if food noise and hunger are not an issue.

Yes but I haven't changed my diet so that's not the reason. Stall for maybe 1,5-2 months.

Actually, this is probably the exact reason. Lost weight and now your new maintenance calories are your old cutting calories.

Gotta change your diet. If you lost weight, your body needs fewer calories to maintain, and even fewer calories to continue losing.

Sucks, but true.

Yes, stabilize your dose. And that should make it easier to lower your calories.

You don't need to force yourself to eat if you still want to lose weight. Cause you have to eat less.

Too many people are talking Kilograms and pounds. Measure your neck, chest waist, arms, and thigh. Write it down, and measure again each month. If you are working out, you may be adding muscle at the same rate that you are losing fat. It's not uncommon. I went through it for a couple of months, didn't lose weight, then everywhere I went, people said that I looked like I lost 50 lbs. The scale stayed the same, yet I had to buy new clothes.

The problem is that I'm doing a body recomposition gaining muscle mass at the same time as loosing weight. It was working fine in the beginning. When loosing weight only it's easy to just be in a calorie deficit but if I'm going to get some muscles I need to eat the right amount of protein and the calorie deficit needs to be just right.

Yes I'm hoping that is what's happening.

And currently it's not, because your calories are too high to lose weight.

Perhaps you should not be focused on weight loss at all right now, just maintain, and add muscle/recomp, that's a solid plan!

After noobie gains, you're gonna be lucky to hold onto lean mass. Especially if you aren't a 20yo or on hormones.

Just lower calories to make progress. Lean mass loss isn't always muscle loss. True muscle loss is only really an issue under 15 percent for men unless you push the deficit too high.

Yes maybe that's the way but I want to lose more weight damn it. I have about 10kg / 22lb to go. Very frustrating for sure.

I will go back to less is more. It was going fine before I started counting calories. I'm just going to count protein now. Or just see to it that I consume some extra protein like I did before. Never change a winning concept.

I have seen it where folks dose full doses every 5-7 days. Since like 5MG I have dosed every 6 days, and because I have stock, I can do whatever I want! Every 6 days works the best for me and with the half life of tirz, I dont get that huge raise in hunger on day 7, and its a more consistent medication in my system, I absolutely swear by that! Maybe its time to add in cag, or lower cals? Do you track? I would be looking at your intake honestly, then adding in cag/elora if needed.

Good luck, you aren't stupid either! Takes a lot to learn all of this....trial and error are okay <3

I don't have any idea how long did it take to reach 21mg in 9 days from 10mg/week. But I think your body has built some resistance to it because of frequent use. May be it is time to add or try something else like Reta, Elora, Cagri...?

21mg? My estimated medications levels aren't that high. 15mg tops.

I am not talking about your calculated dosage. But about amount of tirz you have been injecting in your body in a periode. It is about how often and how much you inject.

If you inject 10 mg/week, it is 520mg/year and if you inject 7mg every 3 days, it is 851,6 mg/year. I suggest that your body gets used to it and becomes resistant. It is not a conclusion according to a scientific research. But it is what I think, when I compare the way you use it with the way I did. Last time I have injected was 18 days ago. No hunger cravings and lost more than 1kg in 18 days.
