Hey everyone,

After reading here quietly for ages, this is my first time posting. I beat cancer, and it was my functional medicine doctor who pointed me toward MOTS-c, which got me started on peptides. From that point on, I've been digging into the research and taking peptides for my chronic fatigue.

My life is different now because of these compounds. I'm hoping to add something useful to what everyone here knows.

Thanks!

Hello. It's great that you beat cancer! Apart from the MOTS-c you already mentioned, are there any peptides you've looked into that have been useful for your chronic fatigue? Thanks.

Hello! I appreciate you opening up about your journey — it really resonates with me.

May I ask which peptides you've tried yourself, and what kind of impact did they have on your vitality and general health?

Cancer has been part of my story too (2 separate diagnoses), and these days I'm managing myasthenia gravis, so before introducing anything new I want to be extremely cautious and well-informed.

What I'd most like to hear about is how peptides worked for you when it comes to tiredness and bouncing back.

Thanks a lot ahead of time 🙏

Of course! Chronic fatigue was the one issue that medications couldn't fix for me. I was taking three naps a day and couldn't even do my job. It was a really dark time.

For energy, I take NAD+ every day.

A SEMAX/SELANK combination, every day.

I alternate MOTs-c with SS31

AOD 10 vitamin daily, meaning 10,000 units each day

CJC with DAC, to raise and maintain higher T.

My other symptoms are managed with sleep, vegetables, and medication.

It makes a huge, huge difference! I used to need three naps a day, now just one. I can also concentrate and get work done.

Glad you're here, and it's great that you came through that. Using MOTS-c as a jumping-off point for looking into fatigue is a smart angle. That peptide touches both mitochondrial activity and metabolic control, so it tracks that a functional medicine practitioner would steer you toward it.

When it comes to chronic fatigue in particular, the published work also highlights BPC-157 — it appears to help maintain mitochondrial integrity and bring down systemic oxidative stress — plus TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4), which plays a part in tissue repair and modulating inflammation. Neither one is a cure-all, but the way they intersect with fatigue-related pathways has solid preclinical backing.

In fact, stacking MOTS-c, BPC-157, and TB-500 covers a number of the same pathways. If you haven't explored that yet, it's worth a look.

Best of luck as you keep digging.

It's wonderful that you came through a cancer diagnosis!

Would you be comfortable telling me which cancer it was, how old you were when diagnosed, and how much time has passed since you finished treatment? I apologize if that's too personal — I completely understand if you'd rather not say. My reason for asking is that someone in my family is also going through cancer.

Any concerns about some of the research that I've read about some peptides helping promote tumor or cancer growth if you have history or cancer?

This was, and remains, a major worry for me. I do my best to avoid any peptide that could fuel cancer growth. That said, the cancer I developed was triggered by FDA-approved medications my own doctor prescribed. Because of that, I have little faith in so-called experts.

This is simply what happened in my case..

That angle never crossed my mind! I'll dig into BPC and TB. TA-10 is something I've tried, and it did me some good.

Appreciate it!

Amazing news about being cancer-free! Prostate cancer took my uncle's life while I was in high school. My cousins felt like a second family, so the loss hit hard. From the bottom of my heart, I hope you get nothing but luck and robust health for all your days.

At 39M, thyroid cancer brought on by a doctor and a prescription. The doctor had written it for a specific purpose. Then, following 18 months of excellent health and personal records while preparing for triathlons, the cancer appeared.

Surgery plus radiation left me dealing with hormonal imbalances, psychiatric distress, chronic fatigue, and a large amount of weight gain.

So now, a few years on, I'm here. Trying to rebuild toward something resembling a normal life.

Sorry to hear about your uncle 😔

A cousin of mine was 40, an athlete, and died of a heart attack in the gym this February. It sucks...

That's rough, dude—my condolences. I went through losing a cousin too, right at the close of February, though her battle was with mental health. Here's hoping 2026 treats us both a whole lot kinder from here on.
