Hey all!

I'm 27, from Australia, and these days I'm based in British Columbia, Canada.

Weight has been a battle for me for a long time, and I've been considering getting started on this GLP path for quite a while now. Everyone here comes across as really kind and encouraging, and I'm glad to be joining in!

Can't wait to begin my health and fitness path alongside all of you 🙂

Hey! Another person from BC.

Welcome aboard. I’m fairly new too. A few weeks spent researching, plus my first injection. Perhaps we can swap observations along the way.

Cheers.

I wanted to leave a comment on your reta or tirz post, but I don't have the privileges yet. I've been using tirzepatide for around 6 months and I'm planning to make the switch to reta. The main effect is that it removes your appetite. Reta does a bit more than that. My suggestion is to figure out your maintenance caloric intake and then adjust — the key factor with extra skin is losing weight too fast. If you force calories, neither one is going to drop pounds. Based on what I've read, reta has weaker hunger suppression than tirz for some people. But it also raises heart rate for most. Reta does actually cause some fat loss. I'm no expert, just sharing what I've encountered. What I love most about glp is that the food noise goes away. I eat when I want with precise macros simply because I'm not hungry all the time. Best of luck with whichever one you pick!!!

Glad to have you here. Honestly, I regret not beginning my own journey earlier.
