burner number for telegram/whatsapp

do you guys use some sort of burner phone or number for telegram and WhatsApp? i know you can hide it on telegram but not WhatsApp? mostly just wondering what everyone does for having the account tied to them personally for complete anonymity in those groups and the supplier contacts, or just say TG is good enough and go with it?
 
I think most of those services use some kind of LIDB validation now to reject Google Voice and other VOIP numbers during registration, so it's probably more difficult than in used to be (but not impossible, there are services out there to aid in such things).
 
thanks, ill look into that. ive never used either of those in my personal life so i just made a couple real fast to be able to go read and learn but though to myself "this has my real personal info on it, maybe i should make a new one before i actually join in on anything"
 
Not sure if it would work in this case, but I recall Reddit used to have an /r/phoneverify (or something similar) subreddit where you could pay someone a buck or two and they'd help you verify using their phone number. Was typically used to scale promo offers.

There's also various prepaid cell phone plans if you're determined enough that you're willing to throw more than a few bucks at this problem.

SMSPool is valid, I use it all the time. Makes it very easy to get a whatsapp/telegram or whatever you need

How do you go about hiding number on telegram?
