So I ran this by the GPT's, plus did a bit of digging, and the numbers I've landed on in MyfitnessPal look right to me.

BMR = 2,040

To drop 1.5-2lbs weekly, my target is about 2,000 - 2,100 cals a day, with 200g protein. Lifting 3-4 days weekly. Cardio is back in the mix now, so I'll push calories up on those days.

Sound about right to you all? Currently on .5mg reta (week 2) , week 1 dropped 5lbs, though I figure a chunk of that is water. .5 completely silenced food noise, I could still eat but sweets or chips never appealed.

How did you all handle BMR and daily cal intake? What adjustments came with progress?

As always, thanks !

A calculator won't give you a true BMR. Variations in BMR between individuals, along with mistakes from TDEE calculators, can be just as big as a standard calorie deficit target. If you log your calorie intake carefully while your weight stays steady, you can work out your own BMR.

Appreciate it — I figured that figure was just a rough average, so I ran it through 3 separate online calculators, and every one came back within 50 cals.
