So, I've asked the GPT's this and did some searching and I think what I have dialed in using MyfitnessPal make sense.

BMR = 2,040

For weight loss of 1.5-2lbs a week I need to be roughly at 2,000 - 2,100 cals per day with 200g of protein. In the gym 3-4 days a week. I'm am starting cardio again so on those days I will aim higher on calories.

Does this seem reasonable? I am on .5mg reta right now (week 2) , week 1 lost 5lbs but I am sure some of that is water weight. .5 totally knocked food noise down, I could eat but never wanted sweets or chips etc.

What have you done in terms of BMR and daily cal intake? What changes did you make as you progressed?

As always, thanks !

BMR doesn't come from a calculator (not a real one anyways). Person to person BMR differences and TDEE calculator errors are as large as a typical target calorie deficit. Tracking your own detailed calorie consumption in a period of stable weight can tell you your own personal BMR.

Thanks yes so did consider that number generic and I used 3 different web calculators - all within 50 cals
