Next week I'm having a biceps tenodesis, arthroscopic debridement, endoscopy carpal tunnel release and major peripheral decompression on my left arm and shoulder. Later in the year there's another procedure coming for vascular outlet syndrome.

Any recommendations, insights, old wives' tales or pure conjecture on how to approach recovery?

I've got plenty of BPC and TB, both separately and as a blend. Also a kit of KPV.

Anything else worth considering?

That's a great deal to take on in one go — I hope the surgery goes smoothly and you recover well. Between the BPC and the TB you're already well set up. A few things to think about:

  • BPC-157 — the classic route for tendon and soft tissue work is sub-q near the surgical site, once your surgeon clears you (normally a few days post-op). Some also run it orally at the same time for systemic gut support, since anaesthesia and post-op medication can play havoc with digestion.
  • TB-500 — pairs very well with BPC on the systemic side; it helps with inflammation and tissue remodelling over a longer window. The blend works fine, though some prefer to run them separately so each can be dosed independently.
  • KPV — underrated here, a solid anti-inflammatory and especially handy in the acute early phase after surgery. Oral or sub-q, either is fine.
For the TOS later in the year, vascular recovery is a slightly different animal — it'd be worth looking into whether BPC carries any specific contraindications with vascular procedures before that one. How long is the gap between the two surgeries?
