I'm curious about the shelf life of BAC water. My research indicates a 30-day expiration. However, I've noticed some individuals claiming they've continued using the same BAC water for months past its expiration date without any problems.

Hospira BAC Expiration Once Opened



Once I open a bottle of Hospira BAC water, how many days can I keep using it? I've got an R10 kit and plan to go through one vial at a time. My goal is to get the most out of the 30ml of BAC water. What's the optimal way to do this?

Best practice is to bin it 30 days after the first puncture, though solid aseptic technique and keeping the vacuum intact can stretch that out a lot.
