A few years back, I entered my kid into this and gave it everything. We climbed pretty far…I’d rather not say exactly how far, but we fell short of winning. Here’s the thing: my family isn’t wealthy and neither am I, yet my mom knew someone who owned a really successful company. That person backed him and put over $100,000 into the whole thing—I think it was around $120,000—and we still lost. Participating was a good time, but…the only path to a win was throwing ridiculous sums of cash at it
