Are vendors willing to negotiate prices on individual buys?

Has anyone tried to talk down a vendor on their advertised peptide price for an individual (non-group-buy) purchase? How did it go?

Nah. I wouldn't dare piss off a vendor and get the old batch kit in the bottom of the pile out of spite.

From what I have seen, no. There is so much competition in the market (at least the market we participate in with Chinese vendors directly selling kits) that everyone is really at the lowest price that makes sense for them. The effort-to-reward is just too low to be negating $5 off on single kit purchases. For them to go lower, it only makes sense if there is volume.

I use group buys for bulk. If I was buying retail I'd only approach them for a discount if I was buying appreciable volume. ERP at the least has published bulk discounts (which aren't particularly attractive).

From what I have seen the larger vendors only offer negotiated pricing on 100 + plus kits orders.

No way they'll deal with that. They aren't used car saleman. You'll need to look for a US vendor that advertising you saw on facebook, and GL with that too.

I can't see me ever trying that, however I MIGHT consider something like hey, you want $100 for this kit, but XYZ over here has it listed for $90. Price match? But I just don't think I'd push it. If I want the $90 I'll just go buy it elsewhere.

I always wonder about this with the weekly specials. lol Are they just purging inventory that hasn't moved in months?

Oh course they are. Or making room for new batches.

Or just generating traffic by creating some sense of urgency with a sale. Aged inventory isn't a big problem from a quality perspective.

Bff "always" has stuff on sale... almost like the sale price is his regular price.

I've heard in other groups that negotiation is normal in Chinese culture and most vendors welcome it. I haven't tried it, but haven't bought direct in a while. I might try it on my next direct order. Anyone try it? Would be curious to hear from those that have tried it.

Doesn't hurt to ask. But, if you're not buying major bulk, then you're probably paying their asking price.

I've asked a couple of times is there was room for a discount or a price match and got a very polite but unmistakably firm no every time.

Maybe I'm going to try and ask for a vial of something I want to try 🤔

To be fair, THAT'S the one that's most likely to match the COA they're offering. 😀

Each time. Getting 15 to $30 discount on total by each vendor. But my smallest order is not under $600-700. An amount which they can easily offer. Got $35 discount at my last order without asking for it. I don't discuss or beg. Just order and pay within minutes. But I am also gone without any warning if I am not satisfied.

When you get a total of for instance $620, just tell that you will be paying $600 instead and ask if it is Ok? It won't be refused, if you don't seem to be one time buyer. Negotiating over list price won't work.

My vendor has given me small deals from time to time but I never asked for them. They just tell me that the price is lower.. I some times give extra money so they can get a drink or lunch once in a while. So to answer your question... Maybe? lol..

I found a "new to me" vendor with prices I couldn't pass up, some of the expensive kits were $50 cheaper than my usual vendor. Both vendors are in the vendor connection here so I wans't too worried about the low prices.

I got a quote for 10 different kits for about $1500 ($300 less than my ususal vendor.)

I did a copy and paste of the quote and told my usual vendor that I would prefer to buy from them if they could match the price.

They said one item was out of stock and they would match without the out of stock kit.

Unfortunately I needed that one kit so I went with the new vendor.

No regrets, turns out the new vendor kits tested good and my "usual" vendor was delisted on STG.

That is the way it works. If you can find a better price, they won't ever say you have to buy from the other one, as long as their quality is not definitely much better.

I just had a vendor give $10 off kits of R60 from $195 to $185. She said the vendor offered it, and a great suppler. The kits were ordered and paid for. We did get $15 back on a under fill of 5mg on R60 recently. I'm getting 4 kits.
