Honestly, I figure this is mostly me accepting that I'm aging (mid-50s), and maybe I just have to deal with it LOL!

I'm 5'10" and 200lbs. I do weight training 3x week plus consistent light cardio. During those activities I feel fine, but after staying still for a stretch I'm like a corroded tin man — for example, following over an hour of driving, and particularly upon rising in the morning. TRT gives me energy, and I'm already on too many supplements (fish oil, magnesium, D3K2, COQ10, creatine). I blamed the 10mg statin, but I only began that 10 mos ago and the rusty gate feeling had already started 3 yrs back. When I do strenuous yard work, go up ladders or tinker on my car, the following day I'm a mess and need a couple days to bounce back ... Actually, I usually feel improved two days after a heavy lifting session (though my body is used to that routine).

So, I get that this is ongoing and I'm considering trying HGH or a Peptide secretogoblin, but I'd like to hear what people here think about that idea or other options. Thanks for reading this

I can't offer you any information, but what you've written matches exactly how I feel as well. Right now I'm on reta, klow, and motsc. My weight has dropped to 200lbs, yet sitting without moving for a stretch and then standing up still causes me pain. Fingers crossed somebody jumps in and offers us some WD/40.

I've been on glow or klow every day, and for more than a year I haven't felt any aches or pains. Could it be useful?

Over that 12 months, did you ever take a break from the Klow/Glow? Both of my feet and ankles have some injuries, and whenever I attempt to come off, within roughly 2 days the pain begins returning. The everyday aches and pains that come with aging don't return that quickly.. and as of now I've only just restarted the klow, so I'm not sure how long those aches would take to return, lol

Once I began Tirz, my soreness and discomfort dropped enough that my doctor discontinued a Meloxicam prescription. These days the only time I feel any achiness is if I push way too hard (for example, last week when I tried to match a younger buddy during a "beginner friendly" kettlebell session. Won't do that again). From what I gather, there are studies examining Tirz specifically for its anti-inflammatory properties.

I wrapped up a 50-day Tesa cycle. By the finish, my joints had gotten sore. That's one of the side effects. I added KPV during the final week hoping for some relief, and it appears to be helping at this point. I'm in my early 50's, and any car ride longer than an hour means I have to do calisthenics in a parking lot just to walk like a normal person. I've been considering starting Yoga.

Before anything else, I'd try raising the dose gradually and giving KPV a couple of months. BPC 157/TB 500 is another option worth thinking about. That's just my .02 cents

I keep ghk cu going without breaks, and the other 2 I rotate. Typically 1 week off

so you're using the individual peptides rather than the pre-mixed Glow/Klow, ahh. I've gone ahead and ordered each one on its own, actually, so I can experiment with cycling some of them and still keep the relief going. On top of the Klow, I also take Tirz, and I'm aware it contributes to lowering the inflammation too. The degree to which this combo has me feeling better is wild!

Joint soreness and aches disappeared for me too once I started tirzepatide. These days I can run down the stairs, whereas before tirz I could only manage 1 step at a time, and slowly. The same went for staying seated for long stretches, lol, I'd try to get up with every joint yelling at me, convinced I probably looked insane just attempting a normal walk.

All 3 get used by me; during the gap between glow and klow, I'll take ghk cu on its own for that week.

A buddy of mine, roughly the same age as you, was dealing with very similar problems. Mornings were rough — it took him a couple hours before he could really get moving, though once he did, he stayed fairly active for the rest of the day. Eventually he started working with a solid physical therapist, and that person pinpointed a bunch of muscle imbalances that were behind everything. Half a year later, it had all cleared up. Nothing slowing him down in the morning, no lingering soreness either. My suggestion: track down a provider who does a thorough evaluation — his ran about two hours — and figure out what areas you actually need to address. My guess is that will do far more for you than any pep.

Appreciate every response, along with the suggestions and personal stories. After browsing around, I've seen plenty of folks mention Triz for its anti-inflammatory properties, and I can't wait to give it a shot—as soon as my crypto becomes usable! In the meantime, call me "Mr Roboto"

Give BPC-157 a shot for a minimum of 4-6 weeks, at 250-500mcg taken 1-2x daily. When it comes to simply clearing up fatigue, it's likely among the best peptides out there — maybe even the best.

The culprit is the statin — it isn't your age. I spent a stretch on Atorvastatin, plus a different one during roughly the same period, though never at the same time. My body simply stopped repairing itself. Then, while bowling with my kids at about 50, I tore something in my forearm. For years it refused to mend (I still deal with it), which is a huge headache because I work as a handyman and sometimes have to swing a hammer. Statins block healing by driving cholesterol down, yet cholesterol is exactly what the body requires to repair tissue. I can't speak to your circumstances, but you should get your inflammation level checked, and sleep matters enormously — without enough good sleep, recovery won't happen. Sleep is when the body repairs itself. A liver problem could be involved too. I don't claim to have every answer, but I'm certain statins are poison.

Those are valid observations ... The statin theory might hold up. During my upcoming PCP visit, I plan to examine that closely. Back 2 years ago, my snoring had gotten bad enough that I started using a CPAP. I did a sleep study and technically passed it, but I told the Dr I'd borrowed a CPAP from a family member and used it for 6 mos, and that it changed my life (and my marriage!). After working through an extensive questionnaire with him, the Dr consented to prescribe the machine. Compared to getting on TRT, starting CPAP was 2x as much hassle, and wow, have I seen how much of a cash cow the CPAP business is!!

That's a smart approach. For instance, cycle through kpv, then move on to bpc, then tb or ghk, and keep rotating. This should help preserve receptor sensitivity since each one works through different pathways.

F49 here, and yeah — healing takes longer, and so does everything else. That said, staying active pushes aging in a better direction, so don't stop.

The easiest win: epsom salt soaks. My husband M50 was prepping for a marathon, and after one long run he finally gave it a try — in his own words,

You can't take in too much Mg through your skin (no overdose risk). Soak for 20 minutes and you're set.

Yard work — particularly when you've got a 9-5 and only get to it on weekends — counts as "rare" enough that it hits muscles the rest of the week leaves alone (assuming your job isn't physical). So yeah, we end up feeling destroyed.

Other recovery tools worth trying: foam rollering, massage guns, compression socks. Roger balm, icy hot, biofreeze, aspercream. When my knees act up, I reach for Voltarin — pricey, but it works. The more you work it in, the better the result. It's a topical NSAID.

For an energy boost, I'm a fan of NAD+. As we get older our bodies recycle and produce less of it, so this is one supplement we can actually benefit from more than someone at 30. Silver lining to aging, maybe?

One more thing: active recovery. Taking a walk after dinner on a yard work day helps muscles refresh before DOMS can take hold. A walk the next day should cut down how long the soreness sticks around. It doesn't get enough credit.
