Anyone else get weirdly into tracking their progress?

I really enjoy stepping on the scale each morning. It gives me a nice lift for the day when I see the numbers first thing.

I picked up an inexpensive 8 point scale from Amazon and step on it every day. It links up with my phone so I can log everything, and it throws out endless fascinating numbers. Doing a daily weigh-in is captivating — you get to see how the body operates. I recently went through 5 days with no change at all. Then came 5 days in a row of solid loss. I don't let any single day bother me. I keep an eye on the long term trend graph and it keeps me happy.
Do all of you step on the scale every day? For me that would be maddening. I gave it a try since a buddy of mine weighs himself daily, and it's like one morning I'm at one number, the next morning it's different, and it keeps bouncing around. I stick to Friday mornings, roughly the same hour. I've got a Renpho Elis 2X that logs everything through my phone too.

On my phone I opened Notes and set up a Peptides note, then made separate sub folders inside it for every pepper. The recon and dosing details go in those sub folders. One folder handles the scale, where my weight and BMI get logged. Another folder handles pins, where I log my weekly pins (mg and units). After the initial setup, all I need is 1 entry per week to refresh my weight. Daily scale fluctuations get to me, so my weigh in happens just 1 time a week, on my Tirz day. Sticking to that 1 time weekly weigh in is how I fold this into my new lifestyle, accept this new normal, and stop this journey from consuming me or dictating my day to day meals and movement. My need to snack has been controlled by the stack, portion size is down, and I want to fuel my body accordingly. I eat what I want and move how I want and I am happy without the food noise. Woo Sah muthafuckas.

At the start of my weight loss journey, my plan was simple: just log my weight, nothing more.

But somewhere along the way, it snowballed into me tracking everything 😂 My measurements, goals, little milestones, and all the random notes I wanted to remember.

My NIIMBOT M2 was bought to label my medication originally, yet it also became part of my weight loss journal. I began labeling sections such as meal ideas, progress notes, and monthly goals, which helps me locate things faster.

It’s such a small thing, but having everything organized makes the whole process feel a little easier.

Anyone else like keeping track of the little wins?
Same here. Thanks to Gemini, the nerd inside me has fully come out. I've got Google spreadsheets where cells turn green for normal blood readings and red for out-of-range values, every dose recorded, weight, fat %, and plenty of biometric data all laid out, plus a dashboard showing the key metrics that refreshes itself, all vials labeled, and precise inventory maintained on its own sheet, and so on. And not a single person cares besides me, which suits me just fine.
How does your dashboard look? Also, you lean toward Gemini? For me, it kept making a bunch of assumptions and came off almost lazy next to Claude.
On my dashboard, the key numbers (as far as I'm concerned) come from my all data sheet: latest blood sugar, A1c, weight, body fat, visceral fat, cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and LDL. Each one has a red or green arrow showing whether it's gone up or down since the previous reading.

Sure, it’s not like the number drops every single day, but seeing it there motivates me to start the morning. For 3 days straight my weigh-ins have come in lower each time: -1, -.5, and -.5, which adds up to 2lbs across those 3 days. Over the past 15 days I’m down 8.2lbs. Reta is great lol. Every day I train 1 hour of cardio along with 21 heavy sets.

From where this oddball sits, that's not strange at all!

Just watch out when you're dropping 4lbs each week.

I get what you're saying, but for me the first thing that happened was dropping a handful of pounds, and then the scale went back up once I brought gh into the mix. My lifts have climbed as well, so I realize this rate of loss isn't going to hold. All told, from June 16th until now, I'm only down 12.4lbs. Every day I inject 5.5ius of gh, plus 225mg of Test Cyp per week as prescribed TRT.

For years I relied on "lose it" and was a big fan of how it handled food, macro and workout logging. My tracking really ramped up after I picked up an Inbody scale in March, around the time I introduced Mots-c, 5Amino1mq, Ipamorelin and CJC into my stack. This morning I weighed in at 190lbs and 9'6%, down from 211 lbs and 20% body fat.
LoseIt! is what I use for weight tracking too…my tracking has gone through periods of consistency and gaps for roughly 11 years. Watching the ups and downs fascinates me, since every increase can be linked to a specific stressful thing going on — difficult jobs, getting hurt, moving a house. I paid for the lifetime plan and have zero regrets. Back when I logged food and macros, the app felt very user-friendly, and I really liked the recipe tools plus the ability to store foods I eat often.

Most people in this space seem to love personal data tracking, but I’m not one of them. I wish I were, since I enjoy data and I enjoy looking at other people’s!…the problem is it can trigger ED behaviors in me. My routine is to step on the scale on shot day and typically 1-3 days before that, so I can get my head ready for the “official” weekly number, which gets logged in Shotsy, the G app, Lose It, and my old Mochi App (that one just shows a list instead of a chart, which makes it handy for quickly seeing my raw numbers). Monthly weight loss goes into my giant multi-sheet Peptide spreadsheet, which also holds purchases, testing results, actual losses versus projections, wishlists, inventory, dosages/cycles/price per cycles or months, resources, and plenty more!

On top of that, I photograph a ton of things! Vials and kits when they arrive, my label projects, pep accessories, 3D prints for peps, recons, and naturally 9,000 screen shots of purchase receipts, GB payment proof etc. Between Jan and May I probably took around 100 pics, but after I started peptides it’s been dozens of pics every week. 🙂📸
