I tried several times a few months back and was never able to gain entrance and got worn out with it and moved on. Some groups feel like a gatekeeping social clubs and honestly if that's what they are I'm not interested. I'm here to learn and help and don't have time for the bullshit.

I think it's mostly under the guise of not getting nuked, but agree, if the gates are too crazy, I just move on.

There is this GB channel I've been trying to get into. I DM'd the owner and she said in April that there were no pending GBs so no invite needed. I tried again in May, she says that they are not accepting invites, but to join her backup group and an invite will be posted there. No deal is that good that I have to jump through that many hoops just to get in a group. Heading off to the frog guy where no such gates exist 🤣.
