Trying to get my head around all the useful info in this place. Not sure whether naming sellers/vendors is allowed so I won't (unless it's fine).

Main things I'm curious about:

Reta

Safe/recent testing results for the vendor

Uk warehouses (if that's even a thing, only came across older/archived posts that bring it up)

Filtering my reta

Already using trt, hcg, hgh so I'd like to give reta a go and see what results I get. Not overweight but carry too much around the waist, having low igf1 for such a long time may have played a part...perhaps reta would speed things along.

Another Brit checking in!

I've been on reta for several months and it's worked really well for me. A friend put it to me as 'discipline in a bottle' and I've found that description spot on. While I'm in a deficit I can eat just what I need, and I don't turn into a hangry monster!

Good luck 🙂

What has your experience with reta been like in terms of strength? Based on what I've come across, it ought to target visceral fat, yet there's a chance it could also cut into muscle mass — have you noticed anything along those lines?

Hey fellow Brits!

It's great to see the UK crowd on here growing 🙂

I'm curious to hear how Reta has worked for you and what you've seen in the gym. My own path: over 6 months on Tirz, then I made the switch to Reta in December. At the start of Reta I was eating a bit more - I went from 12.5mg Tirz to 2mg Reta and then titrated up to 8mg across the last 1.5 months - so I can't say for sure if that's the reason, but my energy and gym strength feel better than they did on Tirz.

As for holding onto muscle, I reckon you should be fairly OK as long as your protein stays high. I'm targeting 200g protein per day and I'm at 90kg right now (was 112kg). At my gym I get Inbody tests done regularly (I'm aware they're not very accurate, but DEXA scans are crazy expensive) and they're showing lean body mass dropping only slightly while body fat has fallen steeply.

Hope you all enjoy your journey!

Before I started Reta, I'd spent a few months eating at a fairly steep calorie deficit. That deficit was the whole reason I decided to try it - I was constantly wiped out and the weights I could lift kept dropping week after week. Honestly, it got me down quite a bit, but I figured that was just how things were supposed to be.

Then Reta changed everything. Almost immediately I noticed I had more energy. Being selective about food became effortless, since I wasn't craving junk at all. That made hitting my macros and getting my diet dialled in absurdly simple. I'm also someone who deals with terrible 'hanger' (hungry and irritable, ha), so from that angle it's been a huge improvement too.

From what I've seen personally, people who run into muscle loss or shrinking muscle mass are probably pushing their dose too high. For me, the trick was matching my dose to how well I could still eat. Reta isn't like Tirz - it doesn't simply flatten your appetite. I'm nowhere near as hungry as I was without Reta, but I can eat in a much more deliberate, measured way. Tirz has its uses, I'm sure, but it isn't right for me. When I began Reta I was around 19% BF, and now I'm roughly 14%. On top of that, since my nutrition and macros are on point, my training goes well too - no more dragging myself through sessions, forcing a half-dead body to finish the set.

As you can probably guess, I'm a big fan. Still, you have to use it properly. Treat it badly and it'll treat you badly in return!

Dropping 22kg is seriously impressive — you've probably transformed your appearance completely. Well done! It's encouraging that your strength held up while you were on your gpl1 path; I'd love to see something like that happen for me too.

And honestly, I can't even picture the price tag on a dexa scan... a few of the medichecks blood panels run into the hundreds.
