Ale here. 31 years old, living in Utah (no connection to the religion), and this is my introduction. The D.R. is where I was born, NJ is where I grew up, and as a kid I always carried a bit more weight - nothing extreme, I just like food. Anywhere between 150 and 200 lbs was my usual range.
Motivation showed up in my late 20s and I locked in hard - clean food, low calories, high protein, fasting, running, lifting, the whole list. Progress came steadily. Then my 30s arrived along with my first child and everything shifted. Work, late nights and life in general ate away at my consistency, and the scale climbed to somewhere around 260 to 300 lbs.
Peptides kept coming up in conversation recently, and honestly that has lit the motivation back up. Getting back into the gym and treating this seriously is the plan, though right now I am still learning - how it all works, reading up, working things out one step at a time.
Word of mouth is how this forum reached me, and the information on it has already won me over. Whatever I pick up here will hopefully steer me the right way and put me back near my goal of 160 to 170.
Grateful for the community, and for any guidance offered along the way.
Let's chase these gains while they stay tax free
Ale
