I'm dealing with hair thinning at the crown. Boooo! I need the help of the hive mind: How do I use AHK-Cu for best results?

My search has turned up that this is used topically and not pinned sub-q like GHK-Cu. It is in my wish list to add to my stack! Does a kit of AHK-Cu arrive as a lyophilized powder or is it liquid? Do I recon, and if so, with what? I've read to add it to a store bought serum and drop it on the scalp. Recommended serums? Do I make my own serum? How many mg of AHK-Cu per ml of serum? Pop the vial and grind it with a mortar and pestle? How crucial is sterility at that point?

And lastly, let's talk about microneedling. Manual roller? Stamp? Electronic pen? My eyeballs are rolling around from trying to gather the scoop and I need to get the knowledge from the source!

I would look for a vendor selling raw or cosmetic grade AHK-Cu. Way more affordable than the lyophilized stuff. I have a recipe for AHK-Cu hair serum that I make and use. I will dm it to you.

Following! i am stressing over my thinning hair but that’s not good for my hair either- lol!! I have topical AHK-CU and waiting to buy cosmetic/topical GHK-CU. According to a source from another community the protocol for hair serum is 0.3 gms of AHK-CU to 1.8 gms of topical GHK-CU in 30 ml of HA serum. I have also purchased hair toppers 😭

Message me, I will help you out with recipes etc

Well first off, stop stressing. Stressing makes it fall out faster. Lol. Easier said than done, I know. But seriously, look into things like minoxidil as well if you are worried about losing hair. And if the reason you are losing hair is because you are on a glp1 and you are losing weight, the good news is the hair will come back once your weight stabilizes. Just up your protein intake as well.

I mix cosmetic AHKCu powder with BAC water in a brown bottle. The result is quite watery but okay. I add some glicerine to thicken it a bit. It is okay if it is watery. I drop some on my scalp with an eye dropper and rub it in with my hands. I do this before bed. When I wake up, I apply minoxidil from Costco. I do not rinse any of these off.

You're onto it! Be interested in the results and see how you go. I think and correct me if I'm wrong... You can just add less bac water so it's not so runny.

Here is my recipe for AHK-Cu serum

For a 60ml total batch:

| Ingredient | % | Volume |

|———————————————|

| Propylene Glycol | 60% | 36 ml |

| Ethanol (190 proof) | 30% | 18 ml |

| Distilled Water | 10% | 6 ml |

AHK-Cu dosing at 1–3%:

  • 1% = 0.6g
  • 2% = 1.2g (recommended starting point)
  • 3% = 1.8g

Mixing order is as follows, dissolve AHK-Cu into the PG first, then add ethanol, then water last.

I store it in the fridge

Are you talking about the India or K-beauty vendors (not grey pep vendors)?

I'm trying not to stress. For real, I will shave it all off before I stress about it! Which HA serum?

I wanted to ask where they source their cosmetic AHKCU powder but they have the red banner. Don't want to cause them a problem. You guys have given me another avenue to research.

Yes the ordinary HA serum is always good to mix with and just makes things easier. I have used this before.

A bunch of grey vendors also sell raw ghk-cu and ahk-cu. Just talk to your vendor about it. If they are selling it in MGs or a kit, thats likely the lyophilized stuff. If they are listing it by the gram, thats the raw stuff.

Does anyone have experience dermastamping with AHK? I'm looking at a GB with injectable AHK kits and I don't think I want the whole-body hair stimulation, but wonder if it's a safer choice for scalp dermastamping 🤷‍♀️

I tried it awhile back for a minute, but it hurt like hell! I tried to keep it going, but it was bleeding and expensive. Hopefully you'll receive more replies on this thread as I am interested.
