I’m a middle aged woman and on a low dose of Reta twice a week for the last couple of months, no change in dose. Did a 12 week cycle on Tesa/Ipa pinning at night 8 days a week, which I completed a few days ago and then started Mel 1 for a little color two days ago.

The Mel 1 has me getting a red flush right after pinning so my plan is to take a benedryl 30 min before pinning going forward.

The issue I’m having is that I’ve been feeling really run down with flu-like muscle aches all day today. No other symptoms. So, is this a slump before my natural GH works its way back to baseline after the Tesa/ipa cycle, or is this something to do with the new Mel 1 while my body adjusts to that? I’d imagine one scenario is more likely than the other.

Sorry you are experiencing this! Mt1 really didn't make me feel good at all, I got very flushed and nauseated after pinning even a very small dose (250 mcg.) Tried it 2-3 times and then decided it wasn't for me.

If its recent, it's likely the melanotan. You just feel unwell until you acclimate.

That said, how is your diet? Are you eating enough? Are you prioritizing protein to mitigate lean mass catabolism? Feeling terrible is often a side effect of weight loss because we are undernourished and the body must take its fuel from us. Also, is there any chance you could be coming down with something?

I think I figured it out. Seems I came down with some kind of bug because 24 hours later I was not the only one in the house with the symptoms although I was the only one pinning.

The M1 finally settled down and no longer flushing nearly as deep when pinning it.
