70 years old, almost 400 lbs was where I used to be, losing started around 2009, and yo-yoing went on across the last 17 years until 211 was finally hit last August through the old-fashioned route - 'right' eating and exercising. Most of it came off doing keto/carnivore. That got quit in the end and the switch went to lower fat and higher carb (more energy), and from around 240 to 211 is where it went across about 4 or 5 months last year. Back to about 270 came the gain, so 4 weeks ago the decision was to get on the GLP-1, reta specifically (a friend's terz run was working well for him. All the reports coming out about reta were liked and me research got started).
268.2 was the start 4 weeks ago, and 251 was reached last week but about 7 lbs came back over the last few days. Still hanging in though. 1mg twice a week was the start, and my 4th week (last week) went up to 3mg (1.5mg twice a week). Becoming active here is what I'm looking forward to. Reading testimonies for motivation is the thing I like most though.
