Hey all,

Happy I came across this community. Fitness, health, and body composition have held my attention for as long as I can remember. Serious training began for me in my teens, and at 52 I'm still putting in 5–6 sessions each week to remain healthy, active, and lean.

Along the way I've tested a wide range of strategies around nutrition, recovery, supplements, and performance. Lately my curiosity has shifted toward GLP-1 compounds and peptides more broadly, particularly around metabolic health, appetite control, recovery, and aging well.

What drew me in was wanting to pick up knowledge from people with real experience and trade information in a space that's serious and respectful. Online there's so much contradictory noise that telling solid info apart from hype or marketing is genuinely hard.

Right now I'm cautiously trialing a few things. My current stack: Retatrutide at 1 mg every 3.5 days, MOTS-C at 2 mg three times weekly (2 doses on rest days and 1 on a cardio day), and DSIP almost daily, mostly for sleep and recovery support. I'd love to hear how others handle these areas, which protocols have worked for people, and above all how they weigh benefits against long-term health.

Excited to learn from everyone here and chip in where I can.

Appreciate the welcome.

Welcome to the group! Could you share what things were like for you before you began DSIP, and how they changed afterward? I'm thinking about starting it myself. I also take reta at 1 mg each week, and oddly enough my sleep has clearly gotten better even while I'm in a huge calorie deficit, but I want to get my sleep fully dialed in. What I've noticed is that after sleeping through the whole night, I feel great both mentally and physically, so I'd like that feeling every day. So I'm curious whether DSIP might get me there.

Greetings, I came to this forum for the same reason—to pick up more knowledge. Not long ago I learned that reta has been a staple in bodybuilding circles for quite some time! Reta catches my attention, and I've noticed that folks begin with varying doses, yet typically increase the dose every 2 weeks or so. At just 1mg of reta, have you observed or detected any progress?

Hey, I kicked things off at 0.5/ week just to gauge how my body would respond and get used to it. Since I'm pairing it with a high protein diet, I've seen results right from the start. That said, the real shift only came once I moved to 1mg every 3.5 days. So right now, 2mg per week divided into two doses is hitting the sweet spot for me.

Hello, don't count on dramatic changes! Sleep deprivation and sleep disorders have been part of my life for as long as I can recall. My thoughts never stop racing, and getting a full night's rest has been out of the question for years. I've adapted to functioning on 5 hours of sleep. Lately, though, I've been attempting to stretch my sleep to 7 or 8 hours, aiming for a more consistent rythm. At first, DSIP worked really well for me, particularly that first night wow! Since then I've taken it nearly every day, and it feels like its effectiveness has dropped, above all for getting to sleep. Maybe a break from it would help. One thing that has clearly gotten better: I'm dreaming once more and can recall those dreams. That hadn't happened for a very, very long time. I still wake up 1-2 times each night, but now I can get back to sleep quickly, which wasn't true before DSIP. On top of that, I feel very rested in the mornings and far more balanced. My deep sleep seems to have gotten better, I believe. Still, I can't say that for certain; the watch hasn't arrived yet.

You told me not to count on big changes, yet judging by what I've read, that sounds like a fairly significant improvement. After all, you're having dreams, you can fall back asleep quickly, and the key part is waking up rested—that's basically my goal. At the moment I have vivid dreams I can recall, and roughly 50% of mornings I get up feeling extremely refreshed, and I'd like that to happen every day.
