Hello All,

Obesity has been part of my story for most of my life; I'm 47 years old. At 5'11" my peak weight reached 317lbs. Pandemic-era dieting and exercise took me down to 220lbs… back when there were 5 hours a day available for walking/jogging. Today the number is 280lbs again, and that's with a reasonably active lifestyle. Cravings (noise) and portion sizes are what defeat me most, though my metabolism may be off too. My doctor has been consulted, but the answer is always more exercise and diet. Motivation has dipped, because lifestyle changes alone have meant such a steep climb for so little movement in the numbers.

The results people report with reta and tirz have made up a lot of my recent reading, and my aim is simply to learn everything I can before deciding anything. Supporting my health is what I want to work towards. Valuable information seems to be everywhere on this forum, and I'm thankful to those who take the time to share what they know.

Thanks for your time and support!
