Hi everyone, I'm 40 years old and carrying extra weight, and I've just gotten back into lifting weights. It didn't take long to realize that training with weights now is nothing like it was back in my twenties. A shoulder problem from years ago has pushed me to look into peptides, hoping they might help heal things or stop them from getting worse. Appreciate it, looking forward to soaking up everything I can.

Glad you're getting started — there are lots of well-informed people around here.

Your title made me laugh. No sugarcoating, just straight-up honesty. 🤣

Shoulder trouble that's been hanging around for a while (same boat as me)? My advice: begin with 2mg of TB-500 for a 2-week stretch, and only after that move on to 500mcg of BPC-157 daily for another 2 weeks. Circulation, stiffness, lost ROM (range of motion) — TB-500 tackles all of that. That shoulder of yours is likely packed with dead cells, sluggish blood flow, and everything sitting stagnant. Breaking things down, helping cells migrate, repairing tissue — that's what TB-500 does.

Once your shoulder has recovered enough to be in optimal shape, that's when BPC gets its turn - it can finally reach the injur(ies) and fix them.

One more thing: give Stairway to Gray a read. It'll be a big help as you make your way into the Peptide World!

Welcome!

So for the TB-500, is that 2mg daily across 2 weeks, and after that BPC-157 at .5mg for another 2 weeks? Thanks!

I'm dealing with a shoulder injury as well. My attempt at combining TB-500 with BPC didn't produce great results. From what I've gone through personally, plus a lot of anecdotal reports I've seen online, it seems beneficial to administer BPC right at the injury location while using TB-500 for whole-body effects. That said, if stacking is what you're after, injecting both at the injured area is an option.

Yep, that's right!

Are you familiar with the process for reconstituting and drawing up each syringe?

Appreciate it! In principle, I'm set — I've done the reading, saved the calculator site, and gathered everything I need. Right now I'm just holding out for my initial order. Reta will be my starting point. My thinking is that dropping some pounds should ease the ongoing knee, foot and back problems I picked up from lifting like an idiot back in the day. That said, I'm definitely interested in BPC and TB too — my shoulder and forearm have been acting up more lately thanks to muay thai.

If you have any resources about reconstitution and drawing up doses, I'd be glad to take a look 👍🏾 👍🏾 👍🏾

Hey Dancs, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I've been going around in circles trying to sort out peptides and reliable grey markets without getting ripped off. I've been on testosterone for roughly 7 weeks now, and I'm considering adding either CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin or Retatrutide. TB-500 and BPC-157 have definitely been on my radar too, but the main thing I want is to get fuckable again while spending as little as possible on peptides/TRT.

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I'll shoot you a DM with a few TG groups that are definitely legit.

So with test, it's likely ramping up your appetite, and if fat loss or more muscle is the goal, reta/tirz would be my suggestion. Just know that with CJC, you'll get ISR's and it makes you feel sleep(ier). The problem there is that because of the shorter half life, taking it twice daily is recommended (one in the morning and one before bed.)

Appreciate it, Danc. Honestly, being on T hasn't shifted my appetite much at all. The extra tiredness that comes with CJC doesn't sound like something I want, and since I'm still trying to get past a fear of needles I've had my whole life, adding 2 shots a day would be a real hassle. Go ahead and send that DM

The order dancs described matches the way the majority of published studies on these 2 compounds are set up. TB-500 reaches more of the body systemically, while BPC-157 stays closer to the injection site. If there is notable stiffness or poor circulation in the area, starting with TB-500 before moving on to BPC makes sense.

Regarding the reconstitution question kobeanbry24 raised: bacteriostatic water is what's normally used. Depending on the concentration you're dealing with, 1-2ml per vial is the usual range. For drawing and injecting, insulin syringes (29-31g) are used. Reconstituted vials should stay refrigerated and away from direct light. Lyophilized peptides remain stable long-term, but after reconstitution the countdown starts, and 30 days refrigerated is generally the conservative window most researchers mention.

On Moonshine72's CJC-1295 point: dancs is correct about the ISR problem. CJC-1295 without DAC has a shorter half-life and requires twice daily timing to avoid that. CJC-1295 WITH DAC stretches the half-life considerably, which means a completely different dosing protocol. It's worth figuring out which version you're dealing with before committing.

I'm beginning TRT too, and ideally some peptides, so I can hang with the rest of the guys my age lol. Plenty of dudes I know have run gear for years, and it feels like that ship has sailed for me. Still, the main thing, 90%, is becoming healthier.

100%. When gear and peptides are used with real knowledge behind them, the door to longevity opens up in a way that's within reach for so many people.

For me, ret has completely cleared out my fatty liver — the same condition doctors usually write off as ireversible, which is obviously completely untrue.

Once you're past 30, trt alongside peps supports both performance and quality of life.

I've used true anabolics before, but now at 37 my stack centers on ret, bpc, mots, Hgh (at a minimal dose) and supplements.

Great to see someone taking a step toward a better life, man
