That's pretty much it! 😆 Welcome to my 400th post!

Obviously I spend a lot of time here--and much more so since I've been on vacation. To make this more interactive instead of just remarking on my own inordinate amount of time spent on the forum, let's talk vacations!

What's been your favorite vacation?

What would be your ultimate vacation?

Are you going to post on the forum while on vacation? 😂

My last vacation was a 14 day cruise from New Orleans to Barcelona. Then 14 more days back to Miami.

It's a hard life, but somebody's gotta do it.

These sound amazing! I've never been to Big Sur but Napa Valley is one of the most picturesque places I've ever been to. Alaska is on my list too!

Former (HS English), but now I work in schools as an RSP for kids with IDD and autism. Most of my co-workers are doing summer school-EWWW! Money be damned! I want time away from adorable germ-buckets! LOL! I see you're a horse gal - bravo! I'm no equestrian, but grew up with horses and love them. 🐴🥰

Nice!!...I hope someday to get to 400 posts too!...Vacations? I've been to a lot of places, but Australia has a lot going for it. I've been twice for vacation, and once on business...Ultimate vacation? Like I said, I've been to a few places but at this point, I like the USA Southwest and would probably just find places here, and I am always connected so if I am still working, I am always available...

1. My favorite is a tie between Japan and Philippines

2. My ultimate would just be a 3 month trip to different Asian countries.

3. Probably not.

oh and my idea of the best vacation ever is visiting Zippity at his house and getting wasted on extacy while eating poutine and drinking maple syrup while simultaneously banning tf out of glp1 newbies that step out of line, or breathe funny, or speak at all, or I just notice they are there.

I don’t know if you’ll make 400 Flash; you got a LONG way to go! 🤣 Nah, I believe in you! The Southwest is one of my favorite places on earth - it’s truly magical. That’s where I want to retire-a lovely hacienda and dry dry heat! I just finished Pluribus and even watching that gave me cozy SW feels (despite, you know, the weird we-are-one body snatching esque virus!)

I don't know Cat...400 sounds like a lot of work. I'd have to really devote myself and that takes character and stamina...If only there was a peptide for that.... 😎

I once spent a snowy Christmas vacay in residence as a guest at a monastery. Quiet countryside, first footprints in the pre-dawn each day. Silent meals with the monks. Stunning night views with no artificial light to interfere. It was magical and unforgettable.
 
Currently on my 24th summer vacation from teaching. I used to do big road trips for summer. 6 weeks of rock climbing in British Columbia was a pretty great vacation. Other trips included Yosemite, the Tetons, the High Sierra of CA and Alaska.

The wife and I went to Bozeman, MT a few years ago and it is great if you like cool bars, good restaurants and picturesque hiking.

I've been to 46 of the 50 states in the US, future vacations will hopefully get me to the other 4.

1. Rhode Island. When I was in the northeast it was easy to miss because it was so small.

I wasn't thinking about the mission of hitting all 50 then either

2. Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi.

Mostly because it's too damn hot in the summer when I have time to travel.

I do want to visit NOLA and I want to ride my motorcycle at Barber Motorsports Park in AL.

Good place to visit and interesting. I have a good friend who lives just outside of the city. We haven't been there in a while. We normally go to ST Augustine once a year, love it up there. Living here, the heats not big deal. We used to go in the summer, less people and it gets cold in the winter.

I live in MN. I am not as accustomed to heat as I was when I lived in VA, TN, NC and NV.

When I lived in NV I would leave for the summer, hence the Canada trips etc.

TLDR: I am a wimp when it is hot outside!
