Subject: 35M | 5'9" | 185lb — Tirz/Reta for recomp, and handling the "Vyvanse Crash"

Hi everyone,

Totally new to the peptide world, and after some "boots on the ground" advice. Male, 35-year-old, 5'9", sitting around 185 lbs (~27% BF) right now. Decent shape, I think - tennis 3x a week, lifting 3–4x a week - yet a multi-year plateau has set in: stubborn belly fat and a slight double chin that won't budge no matter how much I move.

A low dose of Tirzepatide as a "jumpstart" is the plan, to shed the final 15–20 lbs and hopefully transition to maintaining on my own.

A few specific hurdles I'd love insight on:

  • The WFH/Vyvanse Factor: Working from home, Vyvanse daily. Appetite is dead during the day, but once it wears off in the evening the "boredom snacking" and rebound hunger hit hard. Anyone used GLP-1s to bridge that gap and calm the late-night food noise?
  • Tirz vs. Reta: A lot has been read about Retatrutide for the metabolic boost it offers, but with a lower BMI and a stimulant already in the picture, is sticking to Tirzepatide first the right call?
  • Weekend "Benders": During the week I eat clean, but weekends often mean social drinking and the "hangover recovery" meals that follow. For anyone who started GLP-1s with a similar social life - how did your relationship with alcohol and those weekend cravings change?
Keeping protein high and lifting consistent to avoid muscle loss is the commitment. If anyone has balanced these meds with a high-activity WFH lifestyle or ADHD meds, "Day 1" tips are very welcome.

Thanks in advance for any help!
